Sooo excited you’re back. I decorate like you and am so tired of videos of contemporary, farmhouse, neutral decor. You inspired me to tell my granddaughter that even if you’re renting ask Landlord to allow upgrades even if you’re paying for it because you have to live there and you need to enjoy where you live. Yes, people may not have money to do alot but get ideas from like The Little Blue Fly and do it on a budget. Im excited about what you are doing in this home!❤

You have inspired me to start making my little 1950 cottage beautiful. It has been a very rough first 6 months of the year. I had double pneumonia since Thanksgiving. Then in February, I fell outside a Dollar General and hurt myself pretty badly. If that wasn’t enough, my son passed away in my driveway two weeks later and unfortunately, I found him. He was only 43. His heart gave out. So, please continue inspiring me to get my home that I downsized into two years ago with a broken hip halfway through the move. Thank you so very much! I am going to get my flow blue dinnerware out finally!!!

So very sorry for your loss and troubles, I am in a similar boat but I do have my health, although I have had lots of loss and challenges. I moved from CA back to TX and downsized and am in midst of renovating my cottage…it’s taken a long time. Bought my home 2 years ago…wishing you the best.🙏🏼💫🌿

Bev, I can not express how much I love your channel. I decorate the same way and it’s refreshing to have someone on KZfaq that actually loves all the same things I love. This has been my style all my adult life. The table, antique china, the clock - they just make my heart skip a beat! Also, my parents always remodeled every apartment they rented as soon as they moved in. It did not matter to them that it was a rental. My mother wanted to be surrounded by beauty and the things they loved so wallpaper would go up, rooms got painted. My father would make cabinets etc to fit the space. They made it their own while they lived there and always left the property better than they found it. I’m the same way. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful treasures. I really do share your excitement! ❤

We lived in Italy for almost four years. We were in the Air Force and were young with a baby and hardly any money, but I look around our house almost forty years later and see so many items from that time. @TheLittleBlueFly Oh yay!! This makes me so happy..lol I have to tell you, you have inspired me. I've always felt like I'm not great at decorating, but I decided to change my mindset. Since retiring, I've moved into a small apartment, and I've given myself the task to make my space feel like a cozy home when I walk in, even with the ugly brown walls that I can't change..ugh. It took me forever, but I've finally decided on curtains, and yesterday, when I was in Hobby Lobby and buying a boxwood wreath, I thought.."Now Bev said it's good to get some with variegated colors of green..lol..and I went for lemons but they weren't on sale but I found some picks with strawberries and flowers and I put the wreath on my blue and white plate and put my blue and white teapot in the middle, added some dry, spiky plants and then I was like..wait I need more..lol..thats what happens watching Bev..lol..so I added some birds I had from Christmas. Anyway, I'm on a roll now, thanks. Sorry for being long winded.

Good gosh!! This girl with Danish blood is loving this blue and white bonanza. I have my Plates from Denmark and the small things from my grandmother. They are so pretty on the wall. I don't have any to use for food, but a couple of cups and sauces. I have figurines that were my Mother in law's. The joy you felt, finding them I could imagine. I will be here, and so happy to here from you again. Joyce

That brass basket, very heavy, is often used for small starter fire-wood pieces by the fireplace. I have seen them used in bathrooms with rolled towels. Bar-keepers is a great way to gently clean the dishes. A bit of the powder and water. The meat trays are a rare find! The holes are great for letting the heat out so the meat does not overcook in too much steam. Charcuterie tray is excellent!

Firstly, let me just say that my WHOLE DAY could be spent watching your videos over and over again as we have some similar design tastes in common. One reason I'm always interested in watching your videos is to look for ways to 'tweak' specific items in my home. There always comes a time when we find that one special piece - a picture, bowl, etc., we think would look fabulous on a shelf or wherever... Stand back and realize the area still looks too bare or out of place. I find it helps to watch a few shows to get a different perspective for grouping items together. I love antiques and the sea (my dad was in the Navy), so my design style tends to lean towards an 'eclectic' mix of British Colonial (or almost anything British) with some beach themed items (not kitchy, though), old maps and ships. With that in mind, may I just say how INCREDIBLY envious I am of your fabulous haul of blue and white Minton china? It is too beautiful for words, and what a lucky find on your part! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your lovely and inspirational videos! CHEERS! **Suggestion: Being your blue and white china is antique Minton, do yourself a favor and contact either Wedgwood (Wedgwood acquired Minton when Minton went out of business), or another reputable manufacturer for instruction on cleaning those little stained spots. It would be sad to read that one of your beautiful Minton pieces was ruined by a well-meaning reader who may have given you the wrong cleaning advice.😢

I have recently moved into an official “tiny house”. It’s a very small 300 sq feet. We’ve retired and this was my husbands dream. I have to say I was on board with it as well. U must be so thrilled! The dishes are just amazing, as is the table! I didn't realize just how big it was until u started adding the dishes. It's huge! Was listening to an expert talk abt antique/vintage dishes & she suggested not stacking more than 6 plates together. She said it added too much stress to the bottom pieces. I had no idea, but it does make sense. Gotta protect those beautiful bits & pieces of history! 💖

Oh Bev, I have just finished decorating my cottage kitchen after having a solid fuel rayburn fitted and it's in blue and white. The stamp on your platters is Verona Royal Semi Porcelain Woods & Son England. It looks like they were made sometime around 1904-1906. The bowl with the handles should have a lid. It is a vegetable bowl.
