I’m really hoping my Avenue London gets stronger while it sits. It’s so faint rn it disappears so quickly. Idk how you get BR540 it does not give me those vibes at all. This is so beautiful it’s like you’re walking through a garden near a pond that has a whole lot of water lily’s. It’s so pretty!

I got my dupe of Greenwich village form Juliannas perfume. It's an extrait and it did get stronger over time. That's a light scent to begin with so I would go with a dupe house in an extrait form.

I been looking for a La Capitale clone for a long time with no success and haven’t seen anyone do any video on it but I think I found a clone that close, I just received it today so I haven’t done a full test. Why do You think a perfume like Ivory Route is appropriate for spring? Ofcourse, anyone can wear anything they want. But to me it is a Christmas, cold weather only scent. It is thick and spicy, and dark.

I think you should check the origins of ambergris.

Perhaps you might do well to look up the difference between ambroxan and ambergris...and perhaps amber (a tree resin) whilst you're at it. Unless you buy a vintage fragrance with ambergris in it, only synthetic ambergris...ie ambroxan or similar chemical compounds...are used in current perfumes. "Michael Payne at the National Marine Fisheries Service, a U.S. federal agency in Silver Spring, Md., says that the Endangered Species Act of 1973 is far from ambiguous. "It's illegal to possess ambergris in any form, for any reason," he says." Not only that, India, Australia, and the United States have ALL outlawed the use of ambergris in all forms. "Ambergris itself is a natural raw material derived from whale sperm, but Phlur and other modern day perfumeries now use Ambroxan as a synthetically produced replacement. Ambroxan is a sustainable substitute for ambergris that emits a similar woody-ambery odor with a delicate animal tonality."

And it is produced in their intestines when they have digestive problems. So it's a whale's vomit. Not as sexy as Paulina thinks. 😄

I have the same thing, I was so disappointed. I love the bottle, but I think the wood notes are too heavy for my liking.. I let it sit for a while and hope that I will like it then.. maybe with a combination of a bit sweeter mango bodylotion..

The link for Ciao was sold out 😭. So I went hunting for it. I was able to find it and it’s on its way to me. But what I did find was a lot of places had a box with a black label not gold. Voux Spices smells like old churches do during Easter - of dust, wood polish, wax candles and incense - not sure who would want to smell like that!

You look gorgeous darling! I loved loved Lattafa - Ajayeb Dubai Portrait! Incredible scent. However I absolutely hated Nuha! I gave it to my 10 year old. To me it smelled sooo cheap, shampoo or hair spray like scent that was not unique. Too powdery and just made me cringe bc it reminded me of Dove aresol deodorant spray or something. Its crazy how everybodys nose picks up different scents!

I think you meant before ambroxan the perfumes used ambergris which is stomach bile from a sperm whale. Not sperm from a whale. I'm with you though... Gross.

Thank you very much! I really like how you explain and your perfume knowledge and i am always watching together with my girlfriend but please could you do a little bit less make up ? It is like an english style make and you put sooo much of it that actually just hiding your natural beauty. Please dont hide it.
