About the dresses : my late father used to tease me saying that I would be "buried in my blue jeans" 😅. I finally found a linen dress last summer that I feel confortable in and that is of a good length for me as I am 1,72m. They are often too short for my taste. Have a nice spring enjoying all your favorite clothes! 🐣

Wearing dresses, that’s a personal choice, and these days you can wear dress pants for even the most formal occasions. I’m team dresses as I find jeans to be uncomfortable and I like to wear more dresses in spring and summer. For me they are cooler than pants or even shorts. 😊

Me, too, all pants and shorts are uncomfortable, and often too hot, on me, and at age 64, I’ve tried every possible variation. I wear a dress or skirt outfit nearly every day, I always have. I never wear jeans, they are the most uncomfortable things ever! The only trousers I can tolerate are my Lily Silk, 100% silk cargo joggers, but like all “divided bottoms”, they still ride up. I definitely prefer, by far, a “draped bottom”, i.e., skirt or dress, and there’s a darn good reason we women have been wearing them for at least 10,000 years - comfort. When I was a teen and young woman, in the mid-70s through the 80s, skirts and dresses were the typical daily wear for women, why change to trousers/pants if we don’t want to? Even men mostly wore draped bottoms in most places during most of history.🙂

Thank you for sharing your spring capsule with us. I must say I have learned a tremendous amount from you and your slow fashion approach to your wardrobe. Now, when I go into my closet, I am not overwhelmed with options and look forward to getting dressed. A capsule wardrobe doesn’t have to be boring and can spark creativity!

Love your Spring wardrobe. That jumpsuit is amazing....and the fact that you made it...just WOW! I live in Toronto and the dilemma I'm having is packing for a trip to India next week where it is going to be about 40C. It has been under 10C here in Canada where I live. So pulling out my linen cargo pants, cotton t-shirts and open flat sandals to wear. Have learned so much from your travel packing videos, capsule packing and putting together more outfits with less items of clothing. Looking forward to my trip now that I feel like I have packed exactly what I need and will wear. Looking forward to your upcoming videos :)

Signe, I would love it if you could make a Video on t-shirts. It‘s such a wardrobe staple, however, i always feel uncomfortable wearing them. Any tips on sizing, sleeve styles, neck styles would be very much appreciated!

Thank you, this was one of the best capsules I've seen this spring! Not limiting yourself to an exact number of pieces is so refreshing to hear. I would love to cut back but I feel like I have to have 2 capsule wardrobes, 1 for work standards and 1 for casual since jeans and tshirts aren't allowed at my workplace

I'd love more information too. I own a small suede leather jacket in cognac. I bought this a long time ago when I didn't know anything about the right colors for me. I am a summer and I want a cooler brown for this jacket.

I think that you have to have it professionally dyed, it's not something that you can do at home. Find a shoe cobbler, they usually will be able to dye, shoes, handbags and jackets. I have had a black leather shopper bag re-dyed and it came back looking new, I also had a pair of ballet flats dyed black as the previous colour was looking shabby and I still wanted to wear the shoes, they are comfortable.

I love that you are dying your leather jacket to chocolate. I have a similar style and similar colors in my wardrobe as you. But, I have a pair of chocolate leather boots and I struggle to style them with my colors, so I end up not wearing them. I would like to see a video of how you incorporate chocolate brown into a wardrobe with your color pallet. Thank you

I don’t have the same colour palette but if you want to play it safe you can style it with beige, white and pastel pink. I’ve also worn it with baby blue so you could try it as well. Also navy and chocolate brown is soo beautiful.

Such a dreamy colour palette, it adds so much to your style ✨ - I’ve become a dress person in the last 6 months. I was surprised how versatile and comfortable some of my casual dresses are. I still have jeans and tops but I could very happily centre my capsule around my 10 dresses, 3 skirts and 2 shorts in future. 😮

I only wear skirts and dresses most days, about out 95% of the time, trousers/pants/jeans/shorts are so very uncomfortable and I can never get a reasonable fit with my narrow hips and thighs. They are also cooler and much more feminine and I l love their softness and swishyness (although I wear more structured ones, too, my favorites are bias-cut silk ones). Not all dresses and skirts are “dressy” or more formal, either, I love casual cotton and linen, as well as knit ones, too. I’m always surprised how popular trousers are with most women, they must have very different shapes than me, I just see how they could possibly be comfy, especially hot, thick, stiff and rough denim. Wearing jeans is absolute torture! But, to each her own🙂

Hi Signe, can I just ask, is that a man's t-shirt you are wearing near beginning of video? I believe men's clothes are largely better quality than woman's and I'm thinking of dipping my toe in by buying men's ts.

Spring colours in southern european countries are more vibrant and popping. You show us dusty hues of lavender or teal, whereas in Greece, where I live, colour means yellow, orange green or fuchsia. Does your colour options depend on the weather apart from complexion and skin tone? If you wore these in Greece on a spring sunny day, the would feel wintery.

I love your biker jacket and that style on you. Maybe another color besides chocolate brown. I don't see anything else in that color in your wardrobe. I also think the trend is short lived. Maybe a steel blue, a charcoal grey, or even something closer to the color of your shoulder bag instead? All of those colors look great on you. Of course, you do you.

How do you find the comfort of the Veja Campos? I just don't find mine that comfortable. I think that the tongue must be really hard as after a few hours of wearing them the top of my foot really hurts. I bought the Adidas Sambas and I find them so much more comfortable. Even though I have had my Vejas for a few years I still couldn't wear them for a full day out with a lot of walking. Only for short trips.

Hello Signe, everything is amazing, love the leopard print boots. The only thing that I really don't like are the leather pants, they look vulgar to me, also they don't suit your leg shape, you have healthy-looking rather than slim thighs so you look better and taller when you wear more relaxed-style pants/jeans that are wider at the bottom rather than straight ones like the leather pants. The leather pants make your bottom look low and your legs look shorter, I'm sorry but I think you should ditch them. Hope I'm not causing offence, please take this as a constructive tip, everything else looks wonderful on you x
