Great video! I know how it feels to blank and kinda loose confidence. I live on a lake with huge carp and I haven't even got a bite this year yet. 25 acre neighborhood lake so I can only fish my dock. It takes alot of chumming and patience to get them here. I also am having to buy my equipment here and there but it definitely helps the motivation having the carp care and all the better equipment.

Should start fishing at 530 at the latest. For my the bite turns on at 5am

Love your enthusiasm and felt your joy with your pb, a tip for you always carry the fish in a rolled up net or better still a sling if you can get them over there, if he'd flipped up in your arms its a long way and a hard fall for the carp, it's not a criticism bud just fish care is everything, I've seen people drop fish and just being safe let's the fish grow and gives others a chance of such a wonderful fish, love to you guys from a carp angler in the UK.

you need to let the carp take more line and drag the fight out. Also you don't need to set the hook with a hair rig

Beautiful fish man if you found a place with fish like that it’s time to invest in a proper carp net and a better weigh sling also one thing I would recommend would be to get that rod up in the air and use it instead of the real to fight the fish learn to react to the fish’s surges by lowering the rod instead of letting the fish take line off the real
