I am so thrilled to share this new episode with you, Dear Reader! I had so much fun creating this spring cozy cafe aesthetic this week, with Croissants dipped in pink chocolate, pistachio rose scones, and some delightful herbal tea blends. I also make some homemade bird suet with peanut butter, color a cute new cozy coloring page illustrated by my mom, and feed the fairies in our little fairy village. Each recipe is perfect for welcoming in the spring season, perhaps even while watching an episode of Bridgerton before the new season comes out! 🥰
Watch as I welcome you into my cozy fantasy world of cooking! These cozy, soothing sounds will transport you to my cottage kitchen and bakery. Thank you so much for watching, dear! 💕🥐 I hope you enjoyed the video! For those curious, the kitties are a mix of indoor/outdoor cats and feral/barn cats who have found their way to my farm. I have a heated cat house, barns with warm hay, and sometimes they like to come inside if they are more friendly like Milo and Honey Cat! 🐱 I feed them and provide them with shelter, and I try my best to care for any strays that arrive for as long as they choose to stay. have you managed to taken them in to the vet yet to get spayed/neutered? this is the best thing you can do to help with the feral cat problem.

Family is scatter, what is left that is. I still set with pretty table service lace curtains soft lamp lights and pretty dishes and old silverware. But the smell of spring and the change of recipes for Easter gathering of all the families recipes oh the smells. Chickens to be fed, eggs to gather and bunnys all across the lawn.the fresh chives or wild ramps aka leeks to flavor everything lovely. Ty for sharing the linen on the line and the pretty yellow iron. I can almost hear the crack of the sheets in march wids of the laundry drying and the smell it leaves on the clothes. I agree the memories we have and those who keep them alive we are special folks keepers of time home by not lost when we keep them alive. I am thoroughly enjoying your videos! Especially all the purrs :) I did have the realization that I think Gen Z is using the DNA of millennial "homesteading" content and rebranding it into "cozy cottagecore" and I am 1000% not mad about. As a millennial who feels like everyone is out here trying to do too much, I will take a cozy video that focuses largely on sitting with cats and a cup of tea over literally building your own fermenting cellar, thank you.

Haha! Thank you so much. I am so glad that it was entertaining to watch! I have so many opinions about this. I feel that certainly could be true for people, trying to rebrand it. For me, it's more or less creating a label that I am not here to teach you how to homestead, this is not my reality 100% of the time, and I embrace being my weird fantasy loving self. Even though I do appreciate homesteading and all that I have learned, I don't feel connected to that online community anymore. I like to make art more and this is how I like to make it! I definitely started off my blog and social channels by sharing the more millennial version of homesteading 10 years ago because that's what I thought that I had to do to be a part of that community as a business owner, but I don't feel that way anymore. Anyone can homestead and do so while being their unique themselves!

Another compliment here. Lovely production, and those rose pistachio scones ! 😍 I'm from Britain, and it's strange how it's almost always recognisable if a video has been made by Americans. Although inspired their European roots, have a different aesthetic history and sensibility, although it's less obvious in this video.

Absolutely beautiful bakes and sweet, beautiful fur babies. My fur baby who is also a ginger like your baby, was a rescued stray. When i look back at pictures of him when we first got him, I’m reminded that he was so fat lol! Most strays and ferals can hold their own, find food and shelter and make do. You’re so sweet to take such good care of them ❤

Those croissants! The work that goes into those buttery layers is why I buy mine. They looked very pretty with the pink but I think I’d prefer mine plain with butter and maybe some preserves. I do love baking scones! Yours were very pretty.
