I was raised on junk also. It’s funny to hear you say that. I went to Farm auctions with my father, and he believes nothing should be thrown away. He would keep a link of a chain or half of a bungee cord, or a tin can it didn’t matter he kept everything, especially antique tools. But I have a love for everything old and any kind of junk. You can do so much with it with just a little imagination.

I really liked the candlesticks because I do love a certain shade of greed with a certain shade of pink. When you added that white wax it just took it to the next level, and I adore them both. My bedroom is a light green and I am slowly adding some pale pink in with my green, so this is a new idea for me to put some candlessticks in there, of which I have a ton. I am so into thrifting and repurposing or just updating items for my home. Things that are old are way better made and such better quality than anything you can buy today. As an added bonus it keeps things out of our landfills which we really need to be mindful of. I just found you a couple of months ago I think and I have watched every video since and I absolutely love everything you do. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Love all of these! The white wax on the candlesticks took them to the next level. I've used the iron method when decoupaging, it gives such a nice finish with no bubbles or wrinkles.

Thanks for using so many different brands of items. Other channels seem to be more focused on selling IOD or several of the other top expensive brands that not all of us can afford. Their channels have gone from thrift flipping to an advertisement to sell their products.

Sharon, I bought that same wood/frame in a thrift store. I planned to put the signage thing from a Christmas IOD transfer on it, but, time slipped away with the season and I didn’t. You have given me some ideas for use of the piece for spring, so thanks. Enjoyed this video.
