Prepositions can be a headache in any language because most of them have many uses, they are used all the time and, depending on the verb (which are a ton), you might need one or the other. So, how to figure them out and use them correctly? In this video, we go over the very popular Spanish prepositions "en" and "a" and help you differentiate them from each other through chunks! Muy bien como siempre, sus videos son bien utiles para los que queremos mejorar nuestro espanol, e evitar los erores muy comunes. Me gusta aprender las frases tipicas mejicanas que nos da bastnate frecuentamente Paulissima y Mariana, pero para los que como yo, viajan a otros paises latinos, seria interesante aprender frases de Venezuela (de Maura) y de otros partes de latinoamerica durante los videos. Good work guys, well done !

Re: prepositions used for transportation not associated with one's body. Would it also be correct to say, "me encanta viajar *por* barco", "es sano moverse *por* bici", etc?

Hi there! Not really. In both cases you'd need an "en". "Por" would be used with places you like to travel or walk through. Like: me gusta caminar POR la playa. Thanks for your question! =)=)=)

Hola! Me pregunto si te gustaría hacer un video en la palabra de. Hay una canción me gusta mucho de uno de mi favorito cantantes, ALFREDO OLIVAS!!!! La canción es, "no." Le usa una frase como este, "No, y aunque me esté muriendo por cambiar de respuesta." Hacia un tiempo duro para traducirlo, pero cuando lo traducí, encontraje que el significado de, de, estaba por "my." Como, no, y aunque me esté muriendo por cambiar de respuesta, es, no, even though it's killing me to change MY answer. Ok, si estas aquí, lol. La pregunta que tengo es, ¿porqué es la palabra de, MY, en este momento? O, es la problema que ya que soy blanco, lol, pero, sinceramente, ¿estoy traducción de equivocado? ¿o es la estructura de las palabras distinto?, ¿entonces necesito que aprender como poner las palabras en el orden correcto? Por ejemplo, no, y aunque me esté muriendo por cambiar de respuesta, en realidad es, no, even though it's killing me to change from answer? Espero que me entiendes porque es muy difícil para entenderlo. ¡¡¡Además, quiero contarte que seas MUY BONITA!!! Y muchas gracias por la ayuda.

¡Casi perfecto Fernando! La número 3 es "a". Cuando hablamos sobre qué tan seguido algo sucede, usamos "a". ¡Buen trabajo! =)=)=)

“At home” is “en casa”, without the article: Estoy en casa.

@@dancinggiraffe6058 That's literally correct, but. "Estoy en la casa" can be translated as: I am at home or I'm in the house and context is the only determinant.
