It's time to deliver Mrs. Gripshover's latest Avon order.
In this video, you'll hear lots of nostalgic sounds, from the heavy plastic compartments of my Beauty Showcase, to the crinkly paper bag, to the delicate clicks and clacks of the jars and lids and lipstick samples. I demonstrate different shades of lipstick using soft-spoken voice throughout. I hope this brings back some wonderful memories.

Had a bad day and feeling heartbroken after getting stood up. This really calmed me down and soothed me. Thanks Sherri for getting me ready with avon. The next guy wont stand a chance to show me up. Thanks for helping me feeel better.

Didn’t he? When ever he photobombs my videos, I just can’t edit him out. He’s such a sweet boy. ♥️🐶 Yeah, I’m in love with those jars, too. I just want to hold them, tap on them and look at them all day. The color of each little pot is like a creamsicle. Glad you felt like you were sitting at the table. Wish you could. I remember the Avon lady coming to our house when I was a kid! My mom would get me something from a kid section from time to time. I remember one item in particular. It was a plastic little girl that you could pin to your blouse. You could flip up the face of the little girl and it had a lip balm inside. Great video!!

@@MidModMeridianASMR , oh yes I remember those too!! My mom passed this year but we are still waiting for her funeral service because they are so far behind due to covid!! (At the mercy of the government because it's Arlington National Cemetery) This video has really given me a nice memory of my mother. Hopefully we have closure soon! I appreciate you for making this!!

Omg I loved that brochure and the lipstick samples were so cute. My mom used to keep the Avon lipstick samples in the fridge. Maybe becuase we lived in Phoenix? 🤔 Bear says hi to Ziggy! 👋❤️

I've been a cashier here and there, and the way you count change seems a bit different from how I try to do it. It seems way more simple the way you talk it out! I have kind of a problem with counting back and sometimes my brain is too scattered to quickly do math, so doing it like this might be an easier way for me 😝 maybe I'm weird and everyone does it like this, but I feel my brain thinks differently

You’re not weird at all. No one counts back change this way anymore because cash registers now just tell you how much change to return. But this is definitely the way I learned it.

When I was younger, I played the piano a lot and my fingers were long enough to stretch past an octave. How did the samples work? When I used to get them they were to keep. Did they used to be for multiple ppl to try out? And that blue case full of item omg precious

You’re right. The customer got to keep any sample she tried. My mom would always pass those used samples on to me. 👧🏼😘
