I've tightened the bolt that attaches the arm to the body but mirror arm is slightly loose. Have I done something wrong?

The spline surface is probably worn-out. We can add an "external tooth" lock-washer to improve the grip.

Thanks for your time and reply. Unfortunately I live in John 'O' Groats in the very North of Scotland. Its only a light wobble and can definitely feel it bite between angles. I'm just a wee bit concerned I over tighten.
