Maybe you should go a bit deeper into celtics history pal before you say dumb things like that.i.e glorifying IRA,sweep sweep,miss spelt banners at uefa,terrorist banners,attacking there own players bus,complaints about their hygiene, half full parkhead when thing don't go there way etc etc

Still love and miss the guy. Kinda hate Spurs for taking him off us but really want them to do well this season because it'll mean Ange is doing a great job with them! Exact opposite of my feelings when Rodgers left us for Leicester halfway through the season! Purely for the respect and appreciation I'll always have for Ange ill want him to succeed wherever he is

Yes, says he wont be there for ever either so 2-3 seasons and in that time he will reconstruct everything, then the manager who follows him will either be of the same ilk which is prob unlikely so a whole rebuilding process will need again

Can't help thinking he's in for a rollercoaster ride! VERY few games where he's onto a 4-5 winning run! Outside of Manchester the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal! Possibly 15 points gone already! He's then hoping the early relegation fighters don't have something up their sleeve? KZfaq showed a Spurs supporter go ballistic when Tottenham lost 3 in 20 mins! What'll he do if Postecoglu loses the first 3 games? Incidentally, I have Postecoglu stuff that is now going to charity! IF THEY'LL HAVE IT😮

As usual with big Ange, a very diplomatic answer to an awkward question. I've never seen a Celtic manager handle the media quite as well as Ange. Brendan is good but not as charming. Ange charmed them. He knows that that question is important to Celtic and their fans. No fans like to be told that a manager joining a new club is stepping up a level, even though he's saying that in his answer. He's basically saying it's a tougher league but that the challenge is relative without falling into the trap of committing to which club is "bigger". I'll be very interested to see how he does down there. Success at Celtic will not guarantee success down there. His all out attacking football might be ideal for Scottish Football where only Rangers can truly challenge Celtic over the course of a season and even that's becoming a challenge for them but at times, it won't work down there against better teams. I'd like to say best of luck to him but in the recent decade, I've developed a soft spot for Arsenal, who are probably my English team now. I'm otherwise not very interested in the English Premiership now though. I can't be arsed with all their boasting about money!

@@amysmileyreid95 I was quite fond of Strachan but it was my ex- girlfriend Michelle a Sports Journalist, he was cheeky too about how she should be in the kitchen cooking, what do you know about football type stuff. I'm not saying that put me off him but at times his smart alec replies to basic questions were cringe worthy. He still has the best European record of any modern Celtic manager though since Stein.

I watched a Celtic game in a London Celtic Supporters Club once which doubled up as an Arsenal Supporters Club. Rough area but good crowd. Lennon scored the winner believe it or not, think it was against Dunfermline but it was an important goal. My agent supports them and he's a good guy. Sends me DVDs and books of the George Graham era etc, so they're okay in my eyes.

you're 100% correct. Celtic are a massive club in a small league, nobody would pass up the opportunity to manage a top 6 club in the EPL with the opportunity to challenge yourself against elite managers and work with elite players. And I say that as a Celtic fan. Spurs aren't a bigger club, but they are in a better league, no question about it.

Well duh. What do you expect? For a player or manager to not want to improve their carreers (specially players who hang their boots around 35)? Celtic wil ALWAYS be a stepping stone, and that is a good thing. I say that as a portuguese, where, no matter how big you make it at Benfica, Porto, Sporting...the end goal will always be in another league for anyone who is actualy QUALITY and plays here.

That doesn't exactly tell the whole story though does it? Rangers were 9 behind when Beale took over and 13 behind when Celtic sealed the title. Beale won more points in dead rubbers, and if he does that again this season I'll be extremely happy.

Ange is a decent guy and knows deep down he's made the right decision. At least Spurs don't have the history that serpent entity have. He made the right move. 👀
