SPY x FAMILY Opening [8 Bit; VRC6] | Mixed Nuts by Official HIGE DANdism

Күн бұрынThe Ending video did so well that I decided to cover the opening. This one was HAAAAAAARD (and fun), but I found an instrumental version that helped me a lot, as well as those new fancy AIs that split songs into different instrument tracks. I didn't use intrument juggling too much here, but I added a lot of self reverb, which helps the song to feel "bigger". I also wanted to remix this one because I've never seen an 8 bit cover that gets the little trumpet melody at 0:13 right yet, so I did it justice.

This is why I always go searching out 8bit remixes that aren't just from the big channels. I love it when artists put their own spin on it and sacrifice accuracy to keep the vibe of the song. This is only one I found that keeps that powerful energy the chorus has and I love it. Thank you for making this!

Spy x Family is one of the only animes where I actually prefer the outro over the intro (Visually. The intro music is still such a banger)

You are seriously the VRC6 master. I've managed to find multiple covers of yours independently and not realize it was the same person every single time. I was sitting here like "where on Earth did this person come from" and the answer was not out of nowhere, that's for sure!! Absolutely adore that beat improv in the star of second verse, btw. I thought this sounded a little slower than the original. I synced them up and they're exactly the same speed, but for some reason even after confirming that this one sounds just a little sluggish to me. I'm scratching my head a little on that one but it's still an absolute banger.

i'm glad i found this channel, these 8-bit mixes SLAP how on earth does one make music like this (which sounds half decent anyways)? i've always been curious about that

Many people tend to convert midi files into "8 bit music" (which ends up sounding awful and unfaithful 100% of the time), what I do is manually writing every note in a program called Famitracker, which also allows me to work with the same limitations the NES had
