@ Santosh Booth - If the noise is over 40db, then it should be able to. But if the noise is not over 40db, it will not capture it. Noise through walls can be difficult for any voice recorder to capture. No, the device does not have software for that, you would need to get some software that can clean up back ground noises.

Yes, standby mode is a low power state that’ll extend the battery life when it does not hear a sound. 60db is about the sound level needed to trigger a recording, but the program for date and time stamping of the files allows you to adjust this up or down a couple points using a Windows computer. You would need an OTG cable for an iPhone and VLC media player on your phone. Yes MacBook's are fine, you just cant set the date and time with the software that's included on the device because its Windows only, but you can still set the time for the recorder by using a text file on your Mac.

From what you have explained, it sounds like the time and date were not set up or did not take hold when initially set up because if they were, it would bring over the original date and time of when the recording was made, and it should hold said time and date even after it has been played. There is software on them that allows you to set the time and date, but it only works for Windows computers. Mac users have to do it differently by setting up a plain text file with the date and time crafted in a particular fashion.

What if the charging ended during recording will the recordings be saved automatically or will be deleted?
