your are doing great Pete the more you doit the better, the thumb trick is def a good idea, i did notice you were flexing your wrist which makes it difficult to hold the angle. locking your wrist and using your elbow and shoulder works best imo. either way thank you for all the amazing content

You don't need a lot of Windex for it to be fatal. It takes a week or so of kidney and liver failure to finally finish you off, but it gets the job done.

I always use my fixed angle to fix how badly i mess up my edges with the bench stones.... 😂

Is bragging on the internet that I'm too poor to buy an expensive knife sharpener and therefore freehand sharpen all of my CPM 10V, 15V, S90V, S110V, Rex 121, K390, and Maxamet knives really earn me clout?

As a primarily freehand sharpener who started with an Edge Pro, freehand sharpening has many advantages over systems. For comparable quality stones it is cheaper, freehand is much faster, it is much more flexible (can sharpen any knife or tool), and lastly I think it's more fun.

Mate....the spyderco medium ceramic is an excellent stone!.....you wont regret that purchase. It is my go to for a quick tidy up on kitchen knives as it leaves a manageable toothy edge that just works.

This is one of the reasons your channel is so great - we never know what you are going to come up with!! Who knew Windex was a thirst quencher?

Great video. I’m much happier with the edges I get on stones than I am on machines. Ive measured the edge on a wire tester and they usually get within 10-20 grams of each other. Stones all day for me. Horses for courses. Haven’t tried a Tormek yet.
