Also can I say I’m just happy it didn’t crumble apart after your last run in with the zdp. I would’ve felt a little silly after saying how much I like that knife.

Funny cuz I’ve used that knife to cut loaves of French bread just to see how it would do. 😂😂 It did great and I’m talking 10-12 diagonal slices per loaf.

I enjoy and appreciate all your knowledge and tests/ doing the work and keeping up with it. I have a para 3 in m390 I don’t use I just wonder if it’s trash or not you got me curious

I wish I would have tested mine before I sold it. Mine was 60.1 hrc. I do need to find a loaner Para 3 M390 now to test because it's really bothering me that I didnt do the edge retention portion to see where that stood. Except for my 62 hrc PM2 all the M390 I own is 59 hrc or lower and I really wanted that 60.1 hrc data point. I may try and trade in to another to make the test happen. From what I've seen of the BBS M390 Para 3's that have been Rockwell tested they score better than 95% of the M390 tested so far. While it's not optimal I'm positive it would be a great performer. My 62 hrc M390 esge retention testing should be up later today.

You can hold that one as long as you need to. I wouldn’t even mind it going to Kurt if you think it would be worth while and he is willing to do it. When you do come you can snag that reate but no rush. I can always ship the reate too if you don’t have any other reason to come down.

I wish they’d swap out those back locks for compression locks

I think they'd have to completely redesign the knives. They'd probably have to be thicker but it would be really neat. Spyderco just came out with the lil temperance 3 lightweight and it's frn with a compression lock out of the japanese factory so it could happen in the future
