Spyro Reignited Trilogy is an upcoming platform video game developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. It is a collection of remasters of the first three games in the Spyro series: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Really enjoying your walkthrough brother. Playing through the game myself. I never played it for the original Playstation. Really enjoying it though. In many ways, it feels more simplistic compared to a lot of games these days, yet so fun. It reminds me quite a bit of the good ol' days in gaming. Cheers!

This was the only simple game that I found enjoyable, along with Mario. It has collectibles free movement, gliding and you get to blow flames and chase and ram things. You even prey on animals like you were a proper animal. It is a really well done game for being such an early 3D game.

For those who struggle with gliding here’s some hot tips: Actually hold down jump for a second rather than tapping it, it makes a huge difference in the height you get. Try jumping while charging at the same time then glide at the top of your jump, you’ll get further range. Practice over and over again hitting glide at the very top of your jump. Do this on the ground rather than from a ledge where you’ll waste time and lives. Make sure both Spyro and the camera are facing the exact direction you want to go. Adjusting direction mid flight shortens your range. Hope this helps.

When I was a kid, I walked into a friends friends house one day. I saw a disk on the floor facing down, so I picked it up and turned it around and saw that it was Spyro the dragon. I looked at the game and my heart broke for how it was being treated so I put it in my pocket and went home. I played the game and fell in love instantly. If it wasn’t for that day, I would have never even tried to play this game. I was hooked.

Activision and Toys for BOB did a great job with rebuilding the world of Spyro from the ground up. The visuals and graphics are gorgeous. Spyro has always been one of those games I wanted to play but never played when I was younger. I can't wait to get my hands on the Reignited Trilogy so I can experience playing it for the first time and see what I think of the games.

I feel like im the only one who appreciates spyro level skyboxes. Each skybox is handcrafted specifically for each level and looks absolutely beautiful. Even the classic spyro game skyboxes still hold up well. They look like paintings in the sky.

I hope some day a remastered versión of Legend of Spyro trilogy. Maybe it's gameplay wasnt wow but hearing Elijah Wood and Ian McKellen voice Was great. The last Game dawn of the dragón Was the Best because You control Two dragons with 4 elemental with each one and they had an armor system. In a new beggining Was the prologue of the adventure of Spyro and Sparx(Spyro Was grown up by dragonflys). In Spyro the eternal night the gameplay wasnt too high like new beggining but Was ok and we saw the darle Side of Spyro. The dawn of the dragón Was the final shodwdown againt the Dark Master Malefor(Spyro predecesor....who bettayed his menthors).

To the developers of this game, THANK YOU. Spyro was one of my all time FAVORITE games when I was little. Sadly, the only one I played was Ripto's Rage. I want to get the original and 3rd one. Seeing it remastered like this is so beautiful. The graphics, voices of the characters, and the overall atmosphere of this game, as well as the other two, are truly incredible. I commend them for perfectly recreating it. 10/10. Also your play through is very impressive. I love that you worked hard to get everything. That is what dedication is all about. Well done

I would prefer them to abandon that artstyle though. I have always wanted to play that trilogy but it was such a visual and aural disconnect that it felt inauthentic. I think it would be wholly embraced if it preserved Spyro's original aesthetic.

Toir Langston yeah, but “Reboots” and “Remakes” are two completely different things. A Remake is when you basically just redo the game in HD graphics like MediEvil, Resident Evil 2, and obviously the Crash Bandicoot trilogy. “Reboots” are when you make the story and maybe gameplay completely different from the original, Like Tomb Raider 2013, Sonic ‘06, and Ratchet and Clank 2016. I get why people would get them mixed up, but they’re completely different things.

So nostalgic.. I was about 8 or 9yo when the first Spyro game came out back in 98'-99'.. It was one of my favorites besides Crash Bandicoot..

this was my childhood on the ps2. soo awesome to hear that dialogue and see that map. they really did keep it faithful to the original and that’s awesome.

It was really worth buying it. And it was fun to play. It was the same like the original, just better graphics. Really enjoyable game. Sadly there are no similar games out there.

Jak and daxter 1, banjo kazooie, yooka laylee and a hat in time are all similar if you haven’t played those yet

@@estatexfanboy9993 no problem, all of those are on ps4/ps5 except banjo kazooie which is on Xbox. Also Ratchet and clank is great as well if you haven’t played that yet

Man, that music brings back memories! I'm glad they stuck with the original themes! And holy moley, do the elder dragons look so amazing! Those animations and designs! Although I have to say... Spyro's movements remind me of Activision's reboot series from Playstation 2. Seems they might have used some of the rigs/movements from those games as well. Which is no issue for me; I thought Spyro looked pretty good in those games. I also suspect you may be one of those who've played the originals long before the Reignited Trilogy. That charge-jump becomes a habit, doesn't it? ;)

I really enjoyed the new remasters and all, but I find the psx versions to be more magical, and more comedic. For instance Spyro 1, the fairies wings were rainbow colored, spyro turned red when he got kissed by a fairy, and the Dream Weaver's level Lofty Castle's caged fairies made rainbow sparkles whirlwinds
