Developers: “Its just a simple child’s game, let’s not make it too over-challenging” Also the developers: “Lets put a dragon in an impossible to reach part of the level that you have to navigate a 90 degree turn, an annoyingly winding hallway, go through a random door in another hallway full of other completely identical doorways, round another (blind) 90 degree turn, over a gap, through a narrow archway and then over a ramp that launches you over a 30 foot gap into a completely obscure part of the level that you would never be able to find unless you had prior knowledge of, all whilst going at 900 mph, also after rescuing said dragon you then have to go up a broken flight of stairs guarded by armoured ghosts that if you don’t make in under 10 seconds will cause you to get cockblocked by another armoured ghost that mirrors your every movement making it impossible to progress to the final part of the level where you then have to fight a wizard”

The amount of guesswork for this level and Tree Tops was absolutely crazy. Props to anyone who found the solutions by themselves.

Just when I call BS on Tree Tops, I gotta call BS on the stair section of this level.

Forgot about the worst part of these games is when you’re at the end of the level and missing a single gem.

The way I felt relieved after doing that supercharge just to be frustrated over the staircase part 😑 I really have a love-hate relationship with this game

I'm so mad I had to look up the walkthrough for this level. I seen the ledge from the corner as well as the hole in the ceiling where all the doors are but I couldn't figure out how to get there. These developers are evil and great at the same time.

This and tree tops are literally the worst levels in the game i hate this

I am never gonna play this level again

Best advice: Use the d-pad for sharper turns on the super charging parts

This is by far the hardest level EVER. The stair section of this level is ridiculously tedious and it's so frustrating!

Love this game, it is awesome, BUT!!! Some things like running and steering in 1000mph are wayyyy toooo hard to master even for an adult so how could a 7 year old figure all of these things out?!?!?!??!

This was by far the most difficult level on Spyro the Dragon game, in our opinion.

Thank you! I just KNEW the supercharge had something to do with the last dragon but I wasted about 10 lives thinking I had to use that ramp by the little pond. Ugh lol

That stair case at the end is hell. The amount of times I think I make it in time I get bodied and have to do it all over.

Thanks to this guide I was finally able to find that third dragon that I was never able to find on the original as a kid.

IF YOU LEAVE THE STAIRS ROOM AT THE END OF THE LEVEL, IT ALL RESETS! If you don't beat the wizard to the top of the stairs, just walk out of the room and down the hall a bit until you can see the fairy of the dragon you just freed. Then, go back into the stairs room. The room and ghost armor enemies reset! It's still a bitch and a half to get to the top of the stairs and will probably take several tries as it did with me but! this way you don't have to waste all of your lives!

Those steps after the last dragon are killing meeee! I am struggling to get up there fast enough. 😭

I've lost count how many times I've seen the *Reigniting* loading screen because of super charges

flight stages and powerboost ruin this game

I was trying to do the supercharge thing but I thought you had to use the circular ramp to go back and up the ramp with all the arrows 😂

The run is so much easier if you start at the bottom of the run hill. I did it like 500 times and couldnt so gave up and came back a couple months later (now) started from the bottom and was able to do it

I never would have found that charge jump to the new area and last dragon on my own! Thank you! I've 100% complete everything up to this level and I couldn't figure it out. I also need to return to tree top for the rest of the gems. All the charge jumps into chests made me move on.

The most aggravating things about spyro are the super charges and flight levels

See the way that Spyro is positioned to run on the 3rd arrow and not the first? That makes a world of difference when trying to get the third dragon! Don't start from the beginning of the speed arrows and you'll find it's so much easier. :)

Did anyone else get to the point where if they didn’t beat the 2nd step they just turned around? And tried again? 🤣

Oh my god those STUPID STAIRS!! I was raging soooo bad I almost threw my controller out the window! It took sooo long to get passed that last stupid guy and kill the wizard but I FINALLY completed the whole level, now it’s time to go cry over how hard tree tops is to finish because of the stupid power charge thingy 😭😭

Took me a few lives to figure out I could leave the room and start over. Before that I was just letting them kill me till I started at the checkpoint by the 3rd dragon

Turns out I went the wrong way of the super charger this whole time. Explains why I thought it was so difficult. When I watched the video on where to charge to, I was able to get to that last location in one try vs dying 10 times going the wrong way. Thanks.

Hug the right side of the staircase. Charge only at the end as soon as you have a straight shot. Like racing the innermost part is the quickest

Please explain how you manage to turn very well at such ease through the hallways and for that jump. I try turning the stick as much as I can but Spyro just keeps going straight. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe im the only one who didnt know this but if you use your side roll buttons during charge turns it makes the hard angles easier to maneuver

ATTENTION: PSA TO EVERYONE ATTEMPTING THE STEPS AFTER THE SUPER CHARGE. THE KNIGHTS RESET WITHOUT HAVING TO DIE AND WASTE LIVES. JUST GO BACK TO DRAGON STATUE SAVE POINT AND IT RESETS THE KNIGHTS.

Use directional pad to steer when you're charging and you'll turn much sharper.

I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to find the last gem and ended up restarting the level. It was hidden in the fucking grass and I have never been so pissed.

I was 1 inch away from landing on the platform after the supercharge and I forgot to jump at the end of it so i fell. I've tried it like 20 times already

If you're having trouble turing in supercharge, use the d-pad. it's much more responsive

I got a really weird and cool bug in this level, i was about to run out of super flame while doing the last parts with the armors and an armor hit me right when the power up was about to run off, then i got permanently stuck on super flame for the rest of the level, like even dying didn't remove it, it only passed once i returned to dream weavers. Pretty weird bug, but at least it was on my favor and it didn't broke my progression or anything.

6:06 i can't make those turns, and when i do, when i turn outside while charging, he makes a wide turn and i fall off you always make it look so easy 😩

I kept going back to the charge ramp after failing the staircase in time. Found out the 10th try that if you go back to the dragon right before the staircase, it resets the soldiers.

This lvl was the bane of my existence... finally able to beat it after 25 years 😅

I’m not angry that’s it’s convoluted how you get to the secret area, it’s that I lose a crap ton of lives trying to figure out how to get to it.
