Was missing five, and one of the armored monkeys must've glitched out of my game or something, because I died and restarted from a checkpoint, and he appeared, so I got my last five gems. Just thought I'd leave a comment in case anyone else was having the same issue.

If you turn around at 1:45, there's an extra life there.

Your guides are literally the best. Only one thing I noticed with this video is you missed a free life to the right of the floating wind tunnel. Figured you and more importantly players like me who DIE A LOT know so they don't miss it. Your 38 lives weren't missing much.

So everyone else is angry that the secret area was so difficult to see, while, I on the other-hand, went from frustrated to giddy as I realized just how well hidden it was, yet I would still have seen it if I noticed the bars were broken. That's some "off-texture" doom stuff right there.

Everytime I watch these walkthrough videos I always say "There's no fuckin way I missed that" thank you😂

The Beast Makers World is equivalent to Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom’s Kelp Forest level.

I 120% the ps1 version on all three save files multiple times. Fast forward past the Legend of Spyro and Skylanders to the Reignited Trilogy and you forget just how elaborate those levels are.

was stuck at 498 and sparks kept pointing towards a wall with no gem either side, Restarted the area and it was on a enemy that failed to spawn

If anyone still needs it, if you literally looked everywhere after not finding some gems restart the level because mine glitched and didn’t put a gem out that was worth 10

I could not figure out how to get behind the waterfall to save my life. I was stuck for a day and a half. Thank you for your many videos.

I was too scared to even attempt going down there... This remake has so many little details on walls and near the bottom of pits that stick out with more than enough space for Spyro to land on but invisible walls just slide you off... I assumed the same thing would happen down in that canal...

In the room where you find the key around 2 minutes you missed an extra life in the clam shell chest ! It's to the right around the corner from the sparkly lift thing !!!

Obnoxious design. If they had put a GEM on that platform, it would have encouraged the an ALREADY level-prodding player to think it would be somewhat meaningful to jump there. I had spotted that jut that leads to the secret area early on during my initial once over after reaching the stage-end, but the player has already been conditioned by the game into thinking it’s just a dead end and that the shallow platform geometry would just actually be an invisible wall extended by the above structure and shove Spyro into the bottom death pit. We need designers to better scrutinize the level geometry. It’s NOT the worst designed thing for sure, but How many times does a player repeatedly sweep over stages in a game and conclude that they can’t do a thing because they’re missing an ability they were supposed to have unlocked?

i actually skipped this level by accident....been crying for 30 minutes...

I thought it was just me who couldn't find the gems at the start.

I stared at that pool of acid and that gate thinking something was up.... should have done the acid dive haha

Metal head mustve glitched out of the second room for me. Hes not even there at all, i destroyed all electrical towers and collected all gems including the secret one locked by key but the door won't open. Came here thinking I've missed something but hes just standing in the middle of the room in your game. For me he's gone.

I have to be a medium to have know that in the water there is a path, so I don't think this tutorial is cheating.

I cannot find a missing gem I have 495 out of 500 I've went thru the level 3 times now and cant find it. Wtf do I do.

At 2:10, if you go straight into the corner, not through the door, there is a 1up there just out of view in this video.

There seems to be a glitch with the achievement/trophy involving collecting the 500 gems. Even if you were to collect all the gems, you still won't get it. Anyone got a work around?

I appreciate hidden areas in levels, but there should’ve at least been *some* indication that you were supposed to jump down there. Like how tf do people figure this shiet out on their own???

1:40 For fucks sake, spyro developers, that's where you put a easter egg, not a bunch of gems and a key.

Struggling at 2.25 on that long distance ledge... Can not seem to approach the platform area with the gliding action 😑 the triangle (ps) for the extra jump does not appear to work in this game unfortunately only on the last series of spyro

There's a difference between games that were designed to be challenging, and games back then where they had less intuitive design. I'm going to go with the latter here. I've played plenty of games back in the day where it was a great challenge, yet it made sense. This game is fulled with BS
