this game looks pretty fun, but i think they should make it a little more realistic by adding in a few simple things. For example, kill streaks and jet packs.

The dialogue is better than Ubisoft E3 multiplayer gameplay dialogue

The guns sound so fucking real.

As an OIF veteran, I feel like "realism" gets thrown around an awful lot. It's not at all "realistic." Somewhat authentic, maybe? But the way an insurgent fights versus the way people fight in video games will never be "realistic" to me. Among other things, it will never be possible to manipulate a firearm in such a way so as to truly mimic the experience. There will always be an extreme disconnect for me when moving a weapon with a mouse and keyboard versus moving the weapon in real life and putting rounds downrange. Pet peeves, I guess. There is, of course, the very obvious thing of a teammate dying in this game and not feeling the least bit of emotion over it.

I'm just disappointed that levelcap isn't playing in a bigger squad. The idea is to play in a bigger group than 2. At least he isn't going solo like in that other video. They can't really do anything with a group of two, because the enemies will just overpower you and revive their buddies, not only that there is no way you can revive your squadmate if the other guy goes down, because nobody can cover you.

Holy shit the sound effects and terrain are spot on. This reminds me of the my days in Afghanistan. The Poppy flowers were beautiful. Super realistic war mechanics. Props to the Devs.

Damn that realism is amazing. I remember accidently hitting the tilda key while I was stalking a Viet Cong in the depths of Saigon and getting injured as a result.........

You should play red orchestra 2/rising storm if you want ptsd. The first game i played of it artillery hit the group of people running next to me. and then i rolled up into a ball on the floor. I also still have bridges of druzina, myskova river, and red October factory flashbacks.

I freaking hate the comments that are judging an Alpha game and they're comparing it to Arma 3 and other full released games... Its just an Alpha for gods sake!

How I wanted to play BF1 (: Looks very fun.

The amount of people asking what game this is hurts me.

This game has given me more jump scares, than any horror games have. The constant suppression from enemy fire, and when you hear an RPG coming right towards you, but you can do anything, it's scary. Also, when you sit scared in a shack, and there's dozens of artillery rocket coming down around you, and you hear your teammates scream all around you. IT'S INTENSE!

This is realistic combat not like battlefield or COD shit

First time I played I was totally confused. Our squad leader ordered our team to suppress north 265 and the sounds of the guns was defeaning. It was a lot of fun. I died a dozen of times not knowing where the shots are from though... Great game if you love tactical shooters, teamwork is a must...

am I the only who absolutely loves levels vids, becuz he uses headphones and so I can hear the different directions things happen in game, as I'd I'm playing it.. he's like the only person who I watch that uses headphones now, but I love it lol

This looks like a pretty solid game. I've seen a few videos of gameplay, and it has the potential to be a great game. It's interesting how communication is key in this game. It's in my wishlist for when I've got enough money and time to spend on it :D

Damn. Thats so stupid to watch somehow. I have no problem if it would be a normal shooter, but this is so realistic that I have to surpress my urgent intention to slap my phone and yell "COVER AND COORDINATE GODAMMN!" especially at the very beginning. No ones coverin the back door and then you almost shot your teammate because of the bad communication. I was in the Bundeswehr so it kinda mixes up my head.

love the way you and your team can pretty much build a base anywhere on the map then hold it down from enemys i like where this game is heading hard to say its better than arma 3 but it may be a arma killer when the games at finished development

Good teamwork. Wish there were more guys like this is any First person shooter game I play.

Some of the most realistic gun sounds I've heard in a game. Yes I know it isn't 100% accurate but it's almost as close as it can get in a video game. Only thing they need to add is dynamic obstacles in the sound affects that way you can tell exactly where a gun is being shot from. Have it resonate inside a room and make it echo out in the open.

The recoil at 0:55 is extremely unrealistic.

when i first played this game i was freaking out because of how intense the fire fights were.. now i am a seasoned veteran and calm af even during the most furious of battles.

Squad takes the fun parts of infantry engagements from Arma and weapon handling of Insurgency. It's the best mix between the two. Especially now, as it updates.

Let me know when this game gets better than PR and i'll get it.

anyone who watch real war clashes (Afghanistan etc ) would know this game sounds so realistic like damn it feels real.

The nice difference between this and Arma is that in this, there isn't a ton of recoil and no weapons away. In Arma, I run 20 feet and my weapons sways like my arms are jelly. Not to mention, I shoot 10 rounds with full auto and my gun is pointing at the stars. I love Arma, but I'm considering this game.
