Oetsu's sword is only incomplete because he made the sword "too sharp" Its edge is so sharp that he has to keep it in a special container because it cuts through any sheath... Its also the reason why the hilt/handle is made loose for it to wobble left and right, other wise the blade would cut through the handle...

I know how you feel Steph but don't write off Uryu lol. Just like the other Sternritters, he has his own special Quincy power. He wasn't randomly chosen by Yhwach to be his successor. In fact, Yhwach managed to escape that cage thanks to Uryu's power (yes, that wasn't Yhwach's doing). They will expand on that later, so I will leave it at that.

Senjumaru's bankai really shown us how Yhwach's royal guard being defeated by Gotei 13 captains. For example Askin (Aizen lookalike) is crushed by 3 Senjumaru's cuts out. The 3 cuts out represent the combination of Uruhara, Yoruichi & Grimjaw defeating Askin in the future...

Ichibei Hyōsube the Manako Oshō, or simply "Oshō," is a title given by the Soul King that means "he who reveals the true identity." So cool titel 😊.

Its new content added to the anime at the beginning that was never in the manga; so is much needed for people who followed the series. It digs sorta deep into the lore though, so its hard to understand what its about really without a background. A way of putting it without spoilers beyond whats shown is just The meeting took place BEFORE Bach fought Captain Commander; was a Rare meeting between Bach and Ichibe. For context the worlds used to be together..it was all one..the soul king split them into multiple. So what Bach was saying to Ichibe was basically now that Souls exist and people die..they return to him and he can feel their suffering and they dont understand it from his perspective and he wants things to go back to the way things were before the soul king split things. So technically Bach is the villian for the arc but it does make you think some about whos perhaps more "Right" in their view of the world and how things should be kinda deal.

Main information told to us in this negotiation the Soul King split up the world that was once one into 3 parts Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, n world of the living Yhwach said Soul King was his father In end scenes of 16-17 Ichigo saw those same flashbacks Yhwach did and have multiple pupils too Yhwach also asked Ichebei who created death and Ichebei told him it was the Soul King Ichebei sealed something of Yhwach with the Soul kings arm

The big hand that grabbed Yhwach was soul King's arm. When Ichibe said he's not giving it for free, in return he sealed Yhwach's sight. Yhwach eyes had 2 pupils, meaning that he has some sort of vision. Ichibe sealed that ability (hence his pupils became normal). That was what they were refering as sight. Not his actual eyesight, but his ability. Everything else might be explained in the future, considering that this is a new material, that left for more changes and additions in the coming episodes.

[Tidbits & Clarifiations][Lotta reading my bad] - This entire opening sequence between Yhwach and Ichibei is exclusive to the anime. We get some pretty important details, Ichibei seemingly is using the Left Hand of the Soul King and Yhwach can't use whatever his abilities are to see through the Soul King. Further, we now see who and how Yhwach abilities became "confined" (Basically Yhwach absorbs the left hand which in turn seals his Ability) - Ichibei did in fact have the left hand of the soul king however Yhwach eyes are his own, Ichibei simply sealed them using the Soul Kings hand, yet clearly Yhwach eyes are very similar to the Soul King so when he calls him "Father" it's likely not a metaphor. - With the added scene we get additional context as to what Yhwach motives may be. He seems to be upset about how the three realms came about and he claims that the soul king has been put through humiliation. (He also speaks about how the Soul King made life and death and for it people live in fear, this also seems to upset him) - The Flashback scene takes place in the World of the Living, it's the Licht Reich which is the Quincies empire. Ichibei was their to negotiate, which is crazy to think because it seems that 0 Squad rarely leave the royal palace unless it's very important. - The lines "I can see it all" and "I'll show you" is a great expression of their seperate ideals Yhwach is someone who looks forward and seeks a new future, whereas Ichibei knowns and sees the worlds as it is and wishes to maintain the status quo - A scene is removed where Yhwach arragontly ignores Senjumara and steps leisurely pass her, it was a cool scene that express Yhwach's defiance against the Soul Palace and everything they stand for. - Nianzol Weizol schrift "The Wind" is quite strong, it redirects any attack aimed against him even on an instinctual level, the issue is things like clothes don't have intent so Senjumara was a horrible match-up for him - The Aizen look alike "Askin" was the only one chosen to come up from down below, so basically he was just recently promoted. - When Yhwach escapes the Cage the camera seems to hone in on Uryu, many have speculated that it is Uryu's unknown ability that allowed for that to occur. The cage makes it impossible for things that have reishi to escape so whatever ability allowed him to get out must be quite strong. (This isn't how it occurred in the Manga so we don't know either) - Sidenote the anime seemingly makes huge changes because certain events in the manga which occurred in a certain manner have simply been completely changed, so even we manga readers have no idea what may happen at this point. Yhwach can not only absorb the souls and their skills and what they learned but also their feelings, and in that way, he feels what they have felt (their pain in death). So, Yhwach wants to combine all 3 worlds and get rid of death so people don't have to fear it anymore. But soul reapers want to keep death because they believe its a natural cycle and it must be maintained. It makes the "who is the good guys" a gray area and is really interesting, especially for ichigo, since he believes that death gives life meaning. The story overall is really insane once you think about it and the flashback adds so much for YW.

no Yhwach is literally the one and only soul king's son

The three worlds(SS, World of the Living, Hueco Mundo) was one at some point in time where basically you cant die. Then Soul King was basically the op person in that world where then "something" happened which led to the Soul King being the linchpin of the three current worlds. He keeps these worlds separated and without him all three would merge back into one. In the intro scene they were trying to negotiate with the quincies to keep the balance of ✨everything✨. The whole point there was presenting Yhwachs motivation for his actions, you know that when a quincy dies their soul return to him. He feels all those souls desperately clinging to life and fears death so thats why he wants to merge the worlds back into one. Yhwach uses his "double eyes" power (its not really the Soul Kings eyes but like a power that they both possess since you know father-son things💁🏻‍♂️) to try to get one of the soul kings arm but those eye power cannot be used against the soul king(the arm) then Ichibei proceeds to steal/seal those eye power from yhwach so he cant use them anymore. Thats why the old Gotei 13 was able to defeat him 1000 yrs ago cuz he wasnt really in his full strength. Its hard to explain it without completely spoiling the lore behind it. Due to cour 2 being cramped with a lot of chapters this results to cour 2 only adapting around 2 chapters per episode which allows them to further expand to the lore/story. Aizen and Yhwach are quite the same in which they hate the SK setup. Aizen hates that an "inanimate" object is ruling everything and if you look back at his rant to Kisuke when he was being sealed it all makes sense now(for anime onlys). Yhwach hates the separation of life and death through the use of the soul kings remaining body. Like once you know all the lore your opinions and views would change on most of the established things in this world

I've read the manga before, but it's been such a long time I don't remember key parts of it. I basically remember the beginning and the end, but not very much of all the middle where we are now. So when Senjumaru got head shot one-shotted I felt totally shocked, devastated, and confused. Confused because I remember almost nothing about her, yet also pretty sure she didn't get taken out like this. (My previous sentence is neither confirming or denying that Senjumaru perishes.) And devastated because if she did actually just get killed, a key member of Squad Zero, so quickly and easily, then that means this is extraordinarily bad news for the Shinigami's side.

This episode in particular, aside from the lore, they tweaked the sequence a bit. From next week onwards, especially the upcoming cour(s), we're gonna get TONS of anime-exclusive scenes where kubo get to explore what he couldn't do in the manga. Next week's finale gonna get crazyyyy!

Yhwach is indeed The Son of The Soul King (Literally) , pay close attention to Yhwach's motives and view on the universe of bleach, it will make sense. And also in the initial flashback scene Yhwach got the Soul King's Left arm from Ichibei in return of getting his eyes sealed off.
