Half of these rallies are against Mohamed El Shorbagy. This video just show how polite he is :-)

Love to see it. Mo El Shorbagy is such a great sport. Awesome to see how he has matured over his career. Nice to see the respect between these players

This is awesome. It's more about the opponent than the shots themselves. Its only a handful of players that appreciate good shots so openly.

Oh you beauty, Ryan Cuskelly. The technique and execution of that backhand cross court nick is flawless!

The power and direction Ramy gets on that high backhand volley is something else. Such a difficult thing to do

Tesni's volley still unique between jumped overhead nicks and wrist twisters.

Shabana's shot is amazing but it's easier to applaud when you're 2-0 up in games ;)

First shot from Shabana is almost unfathomable. Skill it requires is stupendous. Ashour's applause tells you all you need to know.

Ibrahim's impossible flick for me. I have no idea how he did that.

Shabana’s (first vs Ashour) & Ibrahim’s. Shout out for both shots.

You will notice that 99% of these wild winning shots are to the front of the court which confirms my understanding of what squash is all about....SHOT MAKING drops and nicks. These guys at this level can play back court exchanges all day long and it will just be endless games of attrition with no big impressive racket skills or shot magic in what I describe as " pitch and catch ". The same applies to the endless baseline rallies in tennis. Now more players are finishing with drops and slices and fakes otherwise it is as boring as watching paint dry. This is why FEDERER made the game so interesting with his wide variety of magical shots. I am an older player who plays squash with much younger guys and the only way I have a chance to even give them a game is to play a variety of these front court, cross court nicks, fakes and drop shots which are really not that hard if you develop the habit of trying them. You squash players out there should give this style a try...it is much more fun than just banging the ball to " length " all the time and requires much more racket skill.

@psasquashtv at this point ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jL6VrdOqyamuioE.html ) you wrote that it was in the 2015 WC, but the clip was cut out from the 2020 j.p. morgen tournament match.

One of the reasons I don't like Joel Makin. He never applauds his opponent.

i just commented about this and knew someone else would bring this up^^, but i dont think players should aknowledge opponents shots. It's nice when they do, dont get me wrong, but it doesnt mean they dont respect their opponent, if not the opposite, by having a stoic mind you stay focused in your game. Remember they're on court to win the game, not being a spectator.
