Ramy is the the best player I have seen. Tragic that the TV technology was so crap when the Khans were playing.

Watching the magic man at the start of the day wakes me up like no amount of coffee can. It's like he speaks to the inner me. Saying this is what is inside me waiting to wake up. It's such a shame that in 2019 we only have pale shades of Ramy to inspire us. A little of Ramy in the Viper, Superman, and Rosner but none of it in the younger generation. We need all of Ramy's videos for free to inspire future generations to raise their games. To demonstrate the best that squash can be.

I think Ramy is getting better and better each match he plays. I wonder though if he played Nick Matthew in this round instead of Ali Farag whether the score line would have been different? Don't get me wrong his skill is unquestionable but I do think if Matthew didn't have an injury he certainly would have given him a run for his money or even beat him.
@TheHilarious918 жыл бұрын
Disagree. Nick would never got him. The only person stand between ashour and british open championship is elshorbagy.
@niffrig8 жыл бұрын
+TheHilarious91 . Maybe now that Matthew is getting on a bit Ramy would beat him, but historically Matthew's game matches up well against Ashour (i.e. I think Nick's win-loss rate is positive). Elshorbagy normally has a mental block when it comes to Ashour. But I think Ashour doesn't have enough matches in him right now to take El Shobagy.
@deverncalvin-smith23348 жыл бұрын
I think the only person who is looking in good form to take el shorbagy is gaultier. If he hopefully continues this tournament without any injuries I think that that would be a great final. Gaultier has the best win loss ratio against el shorbagy besides ramy of course. People have counted him out because of his previous injury but I really think he is looking in top shape.In all honesty I don't think ramy ashour can take this tournament most of his matches have gone to 3-2 and that's a hell of a wear and tear on the body. On top of that he hasn't shown his earlier precision and speed when when he has left the tour for a few months and returned as if he had never left. He definitely needs more matches under his belt to regain his accuracy.
@TheHilarious918 жыл бұрын
+Devern Calvin - Smith For most people it's called wear and tear. For professionals they called it conditioning, some players moved better after a brutal 5 games. however, being consistently 3-0, elshorbagy is all about business, he's looking unstoppable.

However, you can buy the, online and download them for 0.99 (in pounds), which is pretty cheap for a great match. I've bought several this way and each has been well worth it. downloads.psaworldtour.com/

definitely a game where its good to be long and lanky huh?
@hoss0117 жыл бұрын
Stefan Coetzee no idea who those people are.. but going by what i see it seems to be an adv to be tall n lanky where its easier to cover a lot of area w less movement
@hoss0117 жыл бұрын
Stefan Coetzee i understand that but the court isnt too big.. so speed doesnt seem to be a huge factor as a lanky fella can extend w out moving as much or at all
@AlastairJohnRoss7 жыл бұрын
it doesn't matter how big you are if you're the one doing court sprints - perhaps you should play a club level player and see what I mean?
@arnaud784 жыл бұрын
@@hoss011 It is an advantage if you can couple it with speed/movement efficiency. It is just a small factor in the overall game though. Very few of the world top ten are particularly tall players.
