So happy for Gaultier. He's been working really hard and has had some tough breaks. He deserved this final.

so much respect for gaultier, elshorbagy, matthew, and ramy, but i know im not the only one that wouldn't mind seeing someone new atop the pile.

Thank-you so much for posting these videos. Incredible to see these titans battle it out. I find it so hard to pick who I want to win with the top guys, they all deserve it. Legends

Watched entire match on PSA - incredibly strong and consistent performance by Gaultier. He's not flashy, but his basics and his strategy are just too good. Pilley has been playing wonderfully and he did a great job too, but there's no way to beat Gaultier when he's on form like this. The most impressive thing about his play is how quickly he takes command of a rally with just one or two extra wide/deep shots, then the rest of the time he's barely even taking one step off the T. Against such a tall player, it's hard to believe he could keep getting width past the reach of Pilley, but he does it over and over again all game with such quality, that Pilley was never able to establish a firm power-hitting rail contest.

Gaultier, the only person I've watched be a bad winner. Pilley had every right to call the let and yet Gaultier insisted that he won when the call wasn't finalised.
@TheHilarious918 жыл бұрын
kind of exaggerated isn't it. anyway pilley knew it's a no let. well play from both pilley n Gaultier. pure class

What's the differents between world number one and number 1 seed?
@squashtv7 жыл бұрын
Seeding is where you're placed in the draw based on your ranking at the time the draw is completed. It's possible to be #1 but say #2 in the world if your ranking dropped between the draw and the beginning of the tournament.

Please don't use that angle in this years world series finals... You seriously can't appreciate the different heights they use on the front wall or their lateral speed. As Gaultier and other top Squash players said before the lower mid angle you used a while ago (was called camera 2) was the best!

Bit harsh. Cam played well, took a game and Greg had to be at his best to beat him.

+PSA SQUASHTV yeah he did his best job ever on a tournament! Can't deny that. But Gaultier is just so beastly when he is goes to the court.
@edfincher9528 жыл бұрын
this tournament was more of a break for elshorbagy as it doesn't give rankings so he didn't really care and didn't want to injure himself!
