Squash legends Ramy Ashour and Nick Matthew are back on court at the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions as they play an exhibition match ahead of the finals.
The match will be played using the 'RAM Scoring System', read about the rules here:

I love this!! More people will definitely be more attracted to the sport,Love what they did with the lights, stadium and announcer too. hopefully we can get into the Olympics soon

I like this concept. It is really cool for exibition matches. It allows the players to go all out on court since there is always the chance of suffen death if you ralley long enough. Will not gel with normal championships though.

Great to see the 2 best from the golden era. This new scoring system is great for the sport. The tour players will come into the finals and semi finals on a more equal footing. And better yet many greater players may extend their careers. Cheers to Ramy

The RAM scoring system is cool. It will engage players more during a match, increase concentration and focus on every rally and will help players develop new strategy to win games while still maintaining audience excitement. I will recommend 5 mins per game and 90 secs per rally so we don't miss out on those adventurous rally. 👌🏽

90 sec per rally? If those 90 seconds expire during a rally, what happens then?

@@paveldvorak2014 The RAM system says once the 60 secs per rally time is up, the rally is stopped and the point is started again. I have suggested 90 secs because an average rally at a senior tournament lasts 50 seconds. We don't want to see stoppages. Intense rallies don't go beyond 90 seconds.

Allan Blacks maybe nick matthew cant but ramy’s last tournament in 2018 was all won 3-0 against players like simon rosner, gregory gaultier, and even mohamed el shorbagy. So he retired having no one able to take a game from him when he is fit. If his body is fine he is the best player no doubt in my mind.

Anyone know if Ramy is back playing again with 2013 Prince air stick here? All the brand logos seem removed!

Looks like he is using the model you tell. In Squash, like other racquet sports, Professional players only change de paint of the racquets. But they always use the same model. I think Ashour has always used the same Prince model painted with the cosmetic on the last model on the market. He used Dunlop for 2 seasons, and Head for 3 seasons (I think). But when he is using Prince racquets, I think he is always using the same model with different paintjob. Regards.

If they train for one month and focus on physical fitness they will be back on tour, I say it is still too early for Ramy. Greg and Willstrop are still playing and Ramy is only 31

Ramy retired due to consistent injury problems and not being able to fix them, playing at the top level hurt him every tournament so he couldn't continue

Ramy can't do it anymore. You can see his movement is hindered so much by his hamstring issues. It is a big shame though.

NO ONE, EVER, compares Nick Matthew to The Greatest/Greats in Squash ; however, EVERYONE acknowledges Ramy Ashour as being one of the LEGENDS of Squash, and He, Ashour, being arguably equivalent to THE phenomenon : Jansher Khan. Enough said, surely ?

And yes, there is 'implication' due to the fact that your opinion, is simply not a FACT, as it is an opinion. And there are not one million Matthews, he was a phenomenal player, one of the best England has seen, but yes I do agree that Ashour was a gift from God. I had to clarify what you were saying Mr Shan, as your point is too convoluted and specific enough.

Great to see two greats on court again but just because Ramy couldn’t physically take the PSA tour doesn’t mean he can reinvent the whole game and invite his brother to flash his whatever it is
