After watching this video tens of times over the past couple of months, I finally succumbed to my piggle obsession (after having them as a teen) and have embarked on adopting two of the cutest bonded boars ever, and commissioning the setup of my dreams, based on yours as a starting point, abd reconfiguring my entire bedroom to accommodate their new home... pics will follow soon - Thanks Sarah, great squinea content as always xxx

I think it’s very safe to say most piggy owners start this way. And the truly dedicated ones are those that learn and expand their cages/care. I had my piggies for about 11 months in not horrible condition, but not what I would later upgrade them to. And six years later with a year in between, I’m still going strong with these adorable potatoes. Also side note, not sure if it’s new or not (if I’m just now noticing) but I love your nose ring!!

Totally agree. There's so many more options out for people to realise! And thank you! There's a continuity error where I don't have the piercing at the beginning and then I do at the end haha 😂 Hopefully it's here to stay though and I'm glad you like it! 😃

We converted a bunk bed frame and use a correx lining with fleece and there's loads of room for our 3. They love scuttling about. They get all excited when you have a switch around with their little houses and bridges and stuff. It's like a new home every week.

im getting guinea pigs soon i had 4 in the past and they had horrible care, i feel so guilty that i was never able to get the right house. this makes me happy me and my sister are getting 2 soon, i have found my online happy place and im not going back

I LOVE your videos. We are new to guinea pig ownership and thanks to your videos, I built them a custom cage inspired by yours, but measurements for my space. I sewed fleece pads and a cage liner too! We have the cage outfitted with your recommendations. Can't thank you enough!

seeing ur set up inspired me to build a better environment from my pigglets ,,, with a screen door front, that swings down for easy cleaning,, and i made the pads that u have as well,, so much easier then ALL that newspaper.. thanx for ur blogs,, so helpful, oxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo🦘

We have 2 boy guinea pigs in our Head Start preschool classroom,Mocha and Latte! The children love them and they are very spoiled! We just love guinea pigs🥰

We rescued 2 guinea pigs as the owner didnt have a clue how to look after them and was selling them for £20 with a very small cage... they was only 4months old,,, the next day we went out and built them huge home just like yours as soon as we put them in there new home they was popcorning like made jumping around with excitement 😁

Wow, great video. Reminds me of when I first started owning piggies, I had put them in a cage that really wasn't suited for them. Now I cringe when I think back. Those poor piggies but they did seem happy but now I have a nice big c&c cage for them, lots of hidies and better quality hay. 😀

I just love your "cage"! I especially like it's above floor-level! Our guinea-pigs had their (after a first time always open, since the guinea-pigs most often wanted to be in it, anyway, and they always came back "home" if they went outside their cage) cage on the floor in the family kitchen. We, "huge humans", often scared the guinea-pigs by mistake, by making "bird-like" (?) movements above them. With your higher-level guinea-pig-home, this appears much improved!!! [Our guinea-pigs seemed really frightened by birds, even birds much smaller than the piggies themselves. We where sure they had a good reason for that (not the really small birds, but any eagles, falcons and such).] ♡♡♡

Loved this video - brilliantly edited and I loved the way the music matched the timing of objects being placed in the enclosure. Definitely want to do the DIY route when we adopt, although I’m not remotely clued up on basic woodwork … I’d never even have thought of the sealant! So really useful things to consider. Ultra cute piggies of course, too! x

I love it. I bought a C&C-Cage and i am so happy with it. I haven't choosen my pieggies yet (I am still searching for a good breeder), but the cage is ready with wooden houses, a hay rack etc. and we bought good quality hay. I wanna thank you and the community for All the tips and advices. ❤

Gosh I love this video. My first two piggies were from a friend who couldn't care for their pigs anymore and they were unfortunately in a pet shop cage when I got them. my herd of 2 is now a herd of 6 in a big c&c cage with fleece, and I'm planning a fully custom wooden cage for after I move house.

Sarah, I came across your videos a few weeks ago and all I can say is WOW!! I am addicted to watching them now. LOL My son received a piggy as a Christmas gift from a relative. It was a surprise to his mother and I so we had to scramble to learn about these cute little guys. After watching your videos I have been inspired to make many changes. We are going to get another one so he has a friend and I am currently in the process of building a new home for him. I am pretty much coping the way you made yours. Thank you sooooo much for the ideas. It should be done in the next couple of weeks and I will send you a picture. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!!!!!

my guinea pig actually live on the floor of my room. I tried putting him back into a cage at night... but was so upset I ended up taking him out of the cage.

Hi! I'm thinking to get a couple pigs, my last one died a year ago, ive been keeping them for about 50 years! The whole fleece liner is new to me and i want to give it a try. My question is, do you ever have problems with your pigs chewing on the water spout and draining it all over the cage? Some of my pigs have done this- it makes such a mess. I wonder if there is a solution or a better way to manage the flooding, esp on fleece - not sure what would happen with that. (Giving them better stuff to chew didn’t help...)Thanks!

I became a Piggie Mommy as of Jan 2nd. Rosie and Lucy. I have learned so much from you. Lucy came homesick. She had ringworm. I learned head and shoulders shampoo and anti-fungus cream. she was perfectly healed. I am so attached to my girls. I do want to make a bigger cage the store-bought one is getting a little small. Rosie is my adventurous girl. Where Lucy is my sweet little loveable wants to be in my lap. My girls love green lettuce, red lettuce a tad picky on red and orange bell peppers. They did get a super special treat for Fat Tuesday. Small watermelon. I did make sure there were no seeds. They were like " Mom what is this". I can not find Pea flakes here in the United states. Is there a DIY on how to make it ?

I loooovvve kissing my chunky 2 girls guinea pigs, i was devastatedly sad losing goma, i found her dead in her sleep, i presummed she was 8 years old, but never looked old, she looked healthy!! I miss goma she was black with a white fur color for a necklace...she was my sons guinea pig for 4 years, then we had her for 3-4 years after😞😭

i love your pigs there so cute!!😊i made a DIY hutch once and my pigs loved it but we made it a grazing ark for them to go on the grass with. I want to make a cage to go inside but i'm not sure if ill be allowed. do you have any advice on if you cant have them live in your house or a kind of diy cage?😄

Hii im 9 and i just got my first pair of guine pigs! Its there first night at my house very exiting but i have 4 other siblings and my house os a bit noisy and we allso have a dog the dog has no interset to get the piggies but i got a bunny cage for it and they seem to like it but they dont go down stairs? We got then a tunnle and a hidey house wich they love but one thing i held it the forst day i got it aand it was a bit skirmy but it takes food out my hand wich os great a couple of questions though! Should i give them oranges? Should i make a limit for what they eat? Is it ok to have one food bowl for 2 piggies?
