I think the tuner is designed to detect the lowest note. That would keep it from getting confused by overtones.

It's easy sometimes to forget just how talented Brett and Eddy are as musicians because of some of the things they do on this channel, but this video really showcased both their skill and the skill of their incredible guests. Thank you Brett, Eddy, and to the other incredibly talented musicians.

The fact Minjin helped make the dalgona weirdly makes her even more boss than the last games. Edit: Minjin pretty much beats TwoSet at their own games consistently. So boss. Also Jordon is so cold and savage when he calls them out on wrong notes.

The 3rd game is easy to win for the player who loses the scissors paper rock. They only have to play the note that's a perfect 5th below the other player's choice. The tuner will pick up the lower as the fundamental and will think the higher is just an overtone.

I wanted to point out that Phoebe did , in fact, play a third piece by a composer with last name beginning with S as she played Allegro Appasionato by Saint Saens, she just identified it wrong.

The tuner tug of war game is rigged in favor of the lower pitched instruments. This is due to how electronic tuner software is designed. Instruments generate overtones, but the tuners look for the fundamental frequency (which is always the lowest frequency detected at a reasonable amplitude) usually using some autocorrelation or Fast Fourier Transform algorithm. Thus if you pick the lowest note you should always win.
