People laughed at me for liking the Talking Heads way back in the late '70s. But look how far they went. This sound is just as innovative. Laugh it up, fuzzballs.

B-52s, Furs, Split Enz, English Beat, Bowie, Violent Femmes... Thanks to my 24-year old stepson for hipping me here. These guys just transported me back to May 6th, 1980-something and kept my attention the whole way through. ~ 58 y.o. Deadhead 😁

I saw them last night and i was thinking the same. There's a defo B-52s vibe. Vocals even sound like Fred in places. They were superb.

Can't get this song out of my head ! What a tune. Especially when the Guitar Player sings the Chorus, it is so catchy. Also the end of the song is so great. You did a great job. I will definitely support you guys in future !

Haven't worked as a cleaner but I love how The Cleaner is presented as an unironic protagonist and positive figure. "Real love and real labor in this modern job." I feel like if this song was by a less thoughtful group or came out in the 90s it would have had anti-blue collar "isn't this a pathetic job to have" vibes.
