My hubby lost 75% of his warhammer collection two weeks ago when someone firebombed our house. Garage completely gone, our storage area. Very sad. Insurance should be solid but he lost so minis that were 20+ years old.

I love how you actually found use in other hands for most of the stuff. Throwing stuff in the trash that you don't want, but isn't trash is just bad. There are enough people that want it.

As someone who's only 2 months into the hobby (plus my 16 year and 21 year old sons) I can only say that I've tried to absorb hours of your content to grow. We have loved watching you paint and describe techniques that we attempt and grow each time! If you need a home in the states for some of those feel free to ship them this way 🤣🤣🤣

Really liked seeing the “behind” the scenes with a tour of your studio. That was cool 😎! I like how you’re taking care of your back log by selling them or donating them. I have a drawer in my desk. It’s full. Until I make space in it, no more new models. It how I keep it down. Unfortunately between work, the Regiment and commissions, I haven’t touched it. Oh well! 😀. I would love to see how you actually run your studio over a normal work day. It would be interesting to see what is involved. Thanks again for sharing. Cheers 🍻

Weird place to say that, but from experience, the ficus in the storage room is potentially going to die over time due to not getting enough direct light.

Hi Squidmar. I would love to see you do another tutorial on eyes but rather than using a bust like you usually do, use a 28mm or 30mm scale tabletop mini. I find the current tutorial on eyes to not be 100% practical for proper tabletop armies.

1 start a youtube channel 2 set up a patreon 3 get a shit load of fans 4 u should a make a little money with donations and that. 5 should have enough cash to buy what u want 6 but u probably got a job and no time to build and paint ,make videos ,get camera's do editing and that 7 ur gonna be damn too knackered to keep up the work rate and hours 8 but it was a good idea for u wanting to build a full 10.000pt army oh good luck if u try it

Budgeting. I just bought 2000 points of sons of behamet and imerpial knights. All built. Painting them now. Within a month. This is my only hobby though besides casual video games.

I got into the hobby in March of this year and you were one the first miniature wargaming related youtubers I started watching. I know it hasn't been long but you're still my favorite I've found. Great set up! Love that you gave away so many models to clubs and supporters - very cool. We were given a lot of help we our school club first started 21 years ago. Now we often give terrain, boards and minis to new school clubs as they start up.

I’m doing this now. Feels so good to get rid of all the chaff! Cleaner place to work. Feel like I want to do the hobby again. If you’re in a hobby slump, clean house. You won’t regret it and make some cash 👍🏻👍🏻

Congratulations you do a great job of painting tutorials for beginners and experts. The new studio looks great I would do something similar in my new house once I move with the exception of all the lights and streaming gear because I’m not that advanced yet.

I just made this decision today. I had FIVE ARMIES from Age of Sigmar; and 90% of the minis were either unpainted or painted really bad because I was new. These things really stressed me out and made me feel like I had a major hurdle to cross before I can enjoy the hobby; so I threw it all away. Over a thousand dollars worth of grey useless plastic that was gathering dust for the better part of a decade. The worst part is that throwing them out felt GOOD, like a massive weight off my shoulders. I cant belive I was holding onto all that weight for so long for no reason. I've thrown everything out and am starting new in 2024. New models, new paints, new brushes, new everything; and I'm staring my journey anew with Imperial Guard

I had to throw out loads of miniatures few years ago because I got a wife and kids and I don't know anyone who still plays, and they were just taking up space. I had some 40k armies, all massive Epic armies (including Squats), and Skaven for fantasy. The only figures I kept were my old Harlequins because I'm obsessed with them. Just last week I thought i'd love to buy the new Harlequin figures to paint...and then I saw the prices. Just one troop and a few characters would cost me about half a years savings! There's no way I can justify paying that :( I remember when Terminators were £3 each...

never thought id have my jobs experience be useful but heavily spray down the moldy area with a hydrogen peroxide and wipe away it should not only kill the mold but actually prevent it from coming back and if its not going away quickly just keep spraying and wiping down along with airflow in that area if possible!

I get it. I hate clutter. I always feel better after I clean and get rid of stuff I'm not using. I try to live a minimumalist lifestyle. When I realized that I don't need all this "stuff" and that my life will be less stressful without it my life changed for the better.

Over the space of 2 years, I've gone from owning/using a paint tray/organizer on my lap to now having hundreds of paints & a specially built spray shed with 3D printers and all sorts of gizmos & gadgets (still no room for dioramas or a proper gaming table tho XD). It's too easy to get lost in the world of miniatures

Nice video, really hope you didn't trash a lot of that stuff. I've kind of stopped played GW games, but alot of their guns, bitz and things work great for a game called Gaslands, and it's absolutely captured my heart this year. Plus the miniatures start as Hotwheels and Matchbox cars.

You could always donate unwanted models, printers ect to a local school group or to teens who may not be able to afford GW models.
