Spongebob Squarepants Reaction is today's video! Hey everyone! Join me and NickFlix as we continue our Spongebob Squarepants journey today with the beginning of Season 2!
A square yellow sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants lives in a pineapple with his pet snail, Gary, in the city of Bikini Bottom on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. He works as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab. During his time off, SpongeBob has a knack for attracting trouble with his starfish best friend, Patrick. Arrogant octopus Squidward Tentacles, SpongeBob's neighbor, dislikes SpongeBob because of his childlike behavior.

"Squid's Day Off" is one of my all time favorite episodes of the Spongebob series! Seeing Squidward's paranoia get the best of him is always hilarious especially when it makes him hallucinate seeing Spongebob.

That Squidward creeped me out I'm not gonna think about a u know who,doing a u know what,and doing a I don't care, I'm just gonna go and relax lets squids day off begin and then u hear what appeared to be SpongeBob's laugh and squid ward is like what was that its SpongeBob he's spying on me seeing if im doing my errands but he left his post ahhhh ha i got u sponge branch funny how a branch sounded liked SpongeBob's laugh but what was even more interesting was when Squidward peered and thought SpongeBob was outside his shower so he goes isn't that the rubber duck mr.krabs wanted me to get I got u now wait until mr.krabs finds out that your a toilet

It’s probably my favorite episode from Season 2, I love that Squidward actually acres for SpongeBob in this episode, but I laugh so hard when he slowly goes crazy to the point he hallucinates.

Interesting fact; Crabs can actually detach & reattach their claws in response to danger or stress. So that’s why Mr. Krabs losing his claws is kinda a running joke

I love how Spongebob says to the blue fish, “I hope my horrible ugliness won’t be a distraction for you.” One might imagine the blue fish to normally say something like, “Oh you’re not ugly,” instead he says, “Not at all boy.” He didn’t even deny Spongebob being ugly.

In the first scene from the episode “Your Shoes Untied”, where SpongeBob was watching an anemone dance on TV, and Gary walks in to where SpongeBob quickly changing the channel, the adult joke completely went over my head and didn’t realize it as soon as I got older.

SpongeBob's scream in Bossy Boots at 18:08 lives in my head rent-free because it sounds nothing like how he usually screams. It's so good! When Mr. Krabs says he can think of ten good reasons to never let go of a dime 27:46, he's talking about each cent the dime has. When Season 2 came, you can tell the animation has completely changed since the first season. I’m not sure if they got new animators, or maybe because 2D animation has advanced through the years, either way this was a big upgrade. (Also, I didn’t know Cody and NickFlix was going to do Season 2 as well. This is a nice surprise for me.)

Fun fact: If you pause at 33:24 you can see that the sign at the hospital building says “Enereency” instead of “Emergency”. Either this was an animation mistake or this was an intentional detail added to the episode to show how Krabs will do anything to save money. Also great video Cody.

Oh my goodness, I only JUST realized that Squidward giving SpongeBob his hat is a literal play on the phrase "wear many hats" (have multiple jobs at once).
