Working on a tracker and I cannot seem to find a good selection of dual sport tires for a 16inch wheel. So i am really considering this conversion. With the new wheel put together, what size tires would I be looking for?

There are many factors to take into account. We usually choose tyres with a good online search engine, then try and source them locally. Try something like: www.mytyres.co.uk/Motorbike_Tyres.html Cheers!

yeah, it comes out at about 500g :) The thing that makes the biggest difference in weight is the tyre!

Why dont you offer the whole wheel ?

Hi! That is a very good question and we wish we could. There are several problems though. 1) The hubs are not available for purchase from Yamaha, 2) Rims are very difficult to stock and to ship - meaning large amounts of warehouse space and tied up capital. So we figured it was best to leave the rims to the experts and just provide the spoke kits - which no other company offers. Then customers can rebuild and reuse their existing hubs :)
