Hello and congratulations for the explanation. I have a problem with the ignition of a DITECH SR 50, after a long period of inactivity I find the fuel pump blocked. I release but it does not start anyway, I decide to measure the pressure in series with the delivery pipe and with the key inserted at 2.5 bar while in start 4.5 bar, but equally it does not start. I ask your opinion.

fuel pressure regulator,fuel pump or air leak somewhere.Mine drops a little but not a huge drop as urs.prime 2.5 bar is good,when the engine idle its should be around 7-8 or higher bar.

Good vid, I repair/renew fuelpumps for SR-s Ditech Aprilia, Scarabeo, Peugeot. For me that pump looked quite solid, it dropped the pressure while the engine was reved up for the second time, but it was not a major drop, so not 100% sure that the pump has a fault.

I wish my Ditech 2009 was running so nice! ;-) I changes air and fuel injectors and that resolved the issue after found crashed o-ring under the air injector. It runs nicely for 3 days and now would not even start. Checked o-rings and injector and all is good. I suspect fuel pump now failed. I have now a big collection of failed pumps. Aprilia made worst quality bikes. Aprilia dealers closed shop in my area. Time to move to other brand.

I really need your help. I have an aprilia SR50 02 Di - Tech. One day when i was driving i just died. And now it only starts with start gas. It doesnt get any fuel. Is it the fuelpump of what. Please contact me :(
