In time for the auspicious Devī Navratri festival, we have just released the beloved chant to the Goddess “Sri Argala Stotram/Show Me Love” for you to chant along with the transliteration and with entire satsang filmed in New York City. KD chants some selected verses from this prayer which part of 700 verses in praise of the Goddess and adds English verses that will feel familiar to you and fit beautifully with the mood or ‘bhava’ of the prayer.

This video was shot in New York City at the Church Of St. Paul & St. Andrew in October 2013 and is part of a full-length kirtan recorded that evening.

I'm listening this mantra for many times literately every day. In the morning, when i wake up, when i come home from work, in the car, everywhere. Specially after my wifes' departure from this world. It helps me staying alive, staying positive. Thank You Krishna Das!

when I first heard it, my eyes started leaking. Not sure why. I have heard of a thing named 'crying', and it is something that people should not do for some reason. That definitely was not I was doing. 🥲

Whenever I need to release and cry, I play this and It overwhelms me with loving feelings. What a gift for all of us. I sometimes use it for Savasana, when I teach gentle yoga for calm and peace. With gratitude 🏵

KD has become part of my daily life. Always offering thanks to the moment I stumbled upon him. It was magic to my ears and inner self. I often wonder, out of pure curiosity, if he realizes the power he has to change us. Such a humble, loving example for others.

I am sure that he is aware of it. He does not do this work all those years for himself, but because he is a servant of God which is what his name means. Krishna Das merely reminds you of the divine within us and as Muslims would phrase it: all praise belongs to Allah.

Trust me. To each his own. Just because this doesn' t move a person doesn't mean nothing will, because, as I said, to each his own. Different things move different people. This is obvious. Acting like there is something wrong with a person and informing them that 'nothing will move them' just because this doesn't....that goes against everything people like Krishna Das stand for.
