We visited Sri Lanka in September 2019 and fortunately, the drone ban was released just before we arrived. With our DJI Mavic 2 Pro we captured the amazing places you must visit when traveling to Sri Lanka. Also, the best waterfalls to visit in Sri Lanka will appear in this video.

I got recommended this video after watching my own video of the trip I took to Croatia and wow your video is amazing!. The song chose is perfect. You inspire me to be better. I also use Mavic 2 pro but your shots are much better. How do you get such good quality shots, like do you shoot in D-log or tweak any other setting?

Thanks a lot! Great to hear I inspired you, that's the best compliment to get, especially from a fellow Mavic 2 Pro owner ;-). Yes I shoot in D-log and use Polar Pro filters. Make sure to shoot with a correct exposure and color correct in post. The camera is amazing and the quality is so good!

Thanks a lot! We didn't had any problems flying the drone in Sri Lanka during our one month travels around the island. Just followed the common drone rules and always use your own common sense, don't bother other people etc.

These shots are breathtaking and the music syncs so well. I live in Sri Lanka even after been to so many of these places it still gave me chills when I looked at these drone shots. Great video dude! Is the drone ban definitely gone in Sri Lanka now? I'm flying out there this Saturday and was planning to take my Mavic 2 Pro, but heard the ban is still on... Did you have any issues or anything?

Thanks a lot!! We're not 100% sure if the ban is gone, but we were there in September '19, took the drone with us (we're on a world trip so we had to anyway..) but we didn't had any problems. We did put the drone in check in luggage and always checked with local people if it was okay to fly the drone. But also as you see, we mostly fly it in nature! Enjoy Sri Lanka!
