What is Ella Odyssey Train?
Ella Odyssey Train is a special Train operated from Colombo to Badulla VIA Kandy - Nanu Oya - Ella ended up in Badulla. This Ella Odyssey Train stops at scenic / important photo locations which are located between Kandy and Badulla. Purpose of this Ella Odyssey Train is to help Sri Lanka Tourism by providing a joyful / thrilled train journey for local and overseas travelers.
Kandy to Ella Train journey is one of the most scenic train journeys in South Asia travelling through lush green tea estates / waterfalls / many tunnels which gives you a beautiful / joyful memory.

Kandy is not a dead station Platform number 4 line runs up to Matale ( Noth of central hills ), 12:27 ( Mahaweli River ) River is the longest river in Sri Lanka. 27:32 That's the Old Nuwara Eliya railway. ( Narrow gauge railway )
