More than anything, Sri Lankan cricket board needs to do this for the people of Sri Lanka so that they can go have this small escape in such turbulent times. As an Australian cricket fan...I loved this! Of course we love our Aussie team but we love the actual sport of cricket just as much... and this was cricket at its very best! Nearly all of Australia was clapping and cheering for Sri Lanka after this run chase, we might be enemies on the cricket pitch but as human beings on the same planet we feel a close bond with our cricket loving brothers, such a well deserved and great win for Sri Lanka!

In 2011 I was only 6 years old. Watched the final match : India vs Sri Lanka on a big screen in my apartment, all my friends were cheering for India obviously. I was a massive fan of Dhoni and to this day I still am. Sri Lanka had fantastic players like Jayasuriya , Dilshan , Jayawardene, Mendis , Murali , Sangakkara , Angelo . Such fantastic players . I hope Sri Lanka becomes a force to reckon with again ! This match reminded me of the past , great batting 22nd April 2023, 12:29 P.M.
