I love this vlog. Probably my favourite one. Rewatching it again and again, but never fails to put smile in my face. This is full of genuity, simplicity, emotions and lots of fun too. There were so much going on it😂❤. *All the time the lady thought you were in a video call with your family. 😂 *She also asked a young girl to come and see you, because you were beautiful. 😌 *It was funny that the man tried his best to teach you that "Subha udasanak" means Good morning and it was late in the evening, so you are not supposed to say "subha udasanak", instead you can say "subha sandhyawak" but you kept saying the same good morning every single time even after, so he gave up telling you that.😂 *Another lady, by the dining table told you looked like a Hindi actor from a drama they watch.😃 *Also I felt like you understood somethings they said in sinhala somehow without translation, specially the betel part at the table.😯 *They genuinely enjoyed looking at you eating. It's so lovely. You just mentioning food smells good, made the lady-gang very happy.😍 *Also very willingly they have made food less spicy specially for you. That's so sweet. 😊 *And the garden tour was beautiful. Above all, those words *"We all smile in the same language"* touched the hearts.

watching this video feel so homesick. Wish I can leave Australia and live in SL on my retirement. I left 43 years ago. I was just 21 years old. Don't eat beetle leaves not good. You can get mouth cancer if you keep munch all the time. This lady reminded me of my mother. She won't let any visitor leave her home empty stomach. Sri Lankans are so generous and welcoming. I understand everything in Sinhalese. They keep telling serve him more food and don't watch him eating it's rude. Oh how nice. 🤔

Man I can't help to comment again and again in all your vlogs .. the way you eat bro here with your hands in a typical sri lankan hope setting is priceless .. you are 'naturally' a humble person .. your energy emits a soothing aura about you .. some people force it and try their best to fit it (it's honestly not easy) but the way you manage to adapt is just brilliant .. the house is super quiet eh? it's typical sri lankans are very thoughtful when it comes to making a visitor comfortable .. usually they aren't noisy and they don't talk loudly .. you would even notice the English pronunciations are more English (British) then American I'm glad your enjoying this.
