@@annegregory1819 They are not Burghers but from place called Mangalore India. They are singing the Konkani Song "Ami dogi Shezara" which means we both neighbourhood. Originally composed & sung by Henry D'Souza, a Manglorean Indian.
Beautiful creation, what a diversity Sri Lanka has, this community unity is strengthening us.

For all of you who think these are burghers (huge respect to them), they are not. The Video is dimmed and is a copy of a recording from Dubai in 2016. This is the fair one : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ntJyrLBzy8rLfps.html This is KONKANI song from a place called MANGALORE, composed by Henry D'Souza a Manglorean titled "Ami Dogi Shezara" means "We both Neighbourhood". Here is the link : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mM57o6VplsuUdnk.html Goa, India was under the Portugese rule and many people had migrated ot Mangalore. Goa to Coastal Karnataka shares same language, though the slang differs. Srilankans share the same rythms with Indian counterparts. Its like "Surangani" is most enjoyed song from Sirlanka and is very very well known and sung by Mangloreans, however the originial of Srilanka only. Hope its clear why the similarity in Music.
