In our Sri Lankan flag, the LION symbolizes the bravery of the people, the BO LEAVES (4 leaves on corners) symbolize the 4 precepts of Buddhism, the MAROON (red) color represents the Sinhala people, the GREEN represents Muslims and the Orange symbolizes the Tamil people. The Golden yellow border symbolizes the harmony between these ethnicities.

Suggest >The lion and the maroon background represent the Sinhalese, while the saffron border and four bo leaves represent concepts of meththa, karuṇā, muditā and upecka respectively. The stripes represent the country's two largest minorities, with the orange representing the Tamils living in Sri Lanka - both the Sri Lankan Tamils and the Indian Tamils of Sri Lanka - and the green stripe representing the Sri Lankan Moors (Muslims of Sri Lanka). From google Chris...The lion in the flag represents the Sinhala race. The sword of the lion represents the sovereignty of the country. The noble eight fold path of Buddhism is signified by the lion's tail. Curly hair on the lion's head indicates religious observance, wisdom and meditation.

35:04 its busy in december bcz so many europeans come to SL bcz of winter months, and NEGOMBO IS A CHRISTIAN CITY , 70%+ of negombo is christians , so they do shopping ,even tho Im buddhist and living in Ja ela city( also a christian city) I always do shopping in negombo in christmas season , they have the best christmas decors to buy😁,

I am from Canada, and we get fried shrimps with shells in Asian cuisines. When you deep fry the shrimp, everything is edible and crunchy heads as well.

Can't even walk in the beach in peace without someone trying to bother you to take a boat tour and the rickshaw tour in the city. I don't blame the foreigners one bit, not trusting the locals. But hey Chris you seem to have a big heart. I on the other hand would tell them to take a hike. Enjoy your travels.

milo very popular here in new zealand and australia cold way 2 teas spoons of milo full glass of milk, hot way sugar one tea sppon of milo rest hot water just before sleeping is common but anytime
