1:07 I love how one of the LED daytime running lights went out cause the blinker was on, and how the blinker came off and the light comes back on. It is satisfying, but they do that so at night the light doesnt shine super bright if the person has their blinker on.

Of the very few vehicles that have passed me on the winding British Columbian roads this past season, most have been Jeep's like this or their Durango counterpart. I might consider one of these one day.

Dodge needs to use the same AWD platform as the jeep on the chargers. But have it in a way that you can disengage the AWD for burnouts. Then the scatpack/daytona/srt/hellcats would be unstoppable.

I hate Dodge for putting 275 all-season Pirellis on a Hellcat. WHY? My neighbor bought his Hellcat and immediately ditched the 275s for some 305 Nittos. The difference was insane. The Hellcat would get so much less criticism if they just put larger tires on it from the factory. Dodge says they wont fit... bullshit.

Dodge is making a Hellcat Widebody for 2018 that comes with 305s and the Demon's flares.

Yeah but that's a lot more money for the proper tires. Also weird because 305s already fit the rear of a base Challenger.

youd think mopar magic would know the assembly line can only handle 275 series at the widest so this year they are assembling them with smaller tires and putting the wider ones on after they leave the assembly line

If it won't roll down the assembly line why not make it a dealer installed performance package? There really isn't an excuse lol but I'm not mad at Dodge, the Demon is great but I feel like they really messed up the Hellcat. The damage has been done and the internet laughs at it every day, when all it needed was decent rubber. I've rode in a hellcat many times and if you do any more than gently lay into the throttle it's a spinning mess. Electronic gas pedal makes modulation really difficult as well...

The part that bugs be about both those cars is that the engine is basically half not under the hood... even an 89 Jeep is like that, it makes it very difficult to work on, the trucks dodge makes are not an issue but it’s all the cars and Jeep’s

It's not just the Jeep's awd that's aiding its acceleration, it is also shorter axle gearing for bigger torque multiplication. That helps somewhat to offset its big weight.

I drive these srt jeep's at work almost everyday to do oil changes and park/wash them in the car wash. Didn't realize they were worth this much! They take special 0w-40 synthetic oil almost 7l of it. I drove it quick once to reset a tpms sensor after changing the tires. I hit 100km and I floored it for max like 3-5 seconds.

I was invited to come out to the racetrack and drive the entire SRT lineup and by far the Jeep Grand Cherokee allows you to put the power to the ground in a more useful and controlled manner; especially in the slalom cones and bends.

Back in 02 my loaded Cummins was the same price as my coworkers loaded Grand Cherokee at $38k'ish. Not much has changed in 15 years as they both still cost the same albeit it $80k now day's.

That SRT Jeep sure is a bang for the buck while compared with the pricing of a GLE 63 and the X6/5 M. I love the Jeep. Wish the jeep was a bit more reliable.

Power difference at sea level should be similar as the hellcat is not turbo charged, but supercharged. There's a fixed amount of compression going on, the supercharger will not spin faster at altitude.
