Honestly, most nukie rounds involve some form of attrition, but this one was interesting cause of one key play from the crew, and science doing their job well.

Agent Papa here. I took the python because of my name: AP The meds was because I thought that more meds is good. The pAI disagreed until the end of the round when they said it was actually good.

please pelase please please please make more of these! they are so damn fun to watch and the info provided is so usefull. Feels like an RTS game but every soldier, commander, civillian is an actual human. PS: Would be cool to put these in a playlist so its easier to find and watch

While I think an armory rush was a valid plan once, I think at this point Nukies are probably better off doing a coordinated plan on the other side of the station; by going armory you're essentially opting into a maximum difficulty engagement if surprise is lost.

Nukies chances of winning when Sec has the full armory go down dramatically. They still need to be hitting it, just... start actually using multitools and remote signallers and this won't happen very often.

None of these rounds I've spectated have actually been armory rushes, if you're not instant detonating the c4, you're losing pretty much all of your advantage.

@@DaFieFie Yeah, kind of. Nuke is 5 mins to detonate, right? This fight goes on for about 3 times that. I think at this point that without a distraction to draw people away from the Armory you're throwing the round as Nukies if you armory rush. Yeah, maybe you get lucky and catch them with their pants down but more and more that is becoming less and less of a thing. Ironically, I'd say due to these videos.

@@Liltenhead Usually people have some kind of scuff in their plan, ya know? I like the idea, but I think it's just too played out without some kind of distraction; if the HoS or Warden are in Sec it seems to end up like this more often than not. Maybe that's a failed execution on the Nukies, or, just bad planning. At this point though if someone does an armory rush on nukies I feel like they typically end up attrit'd out. Still, love watching the rounds, so, keep on rocking it out, man.

I'm fairly sure that round was before the update that made most guns two handed, you can kind of tell because I was the only one fumbling around trying to wield my fireaxe lol. The atmo fire suit is only a 20% slow, but it's still bad enough to make fighting like that really fucking hard, so I was super cautious. Was totally a fun round getting hits in against the nukies with an axe.

Armory raid works if sec doesn't catch on, if they do then you lost your element of surprise and will have to face the station's defenders in a rough fight.

Pistol in general is a very valid option now with the changes, so gonna see a increase in python uses.

@@andrewgreeb916 tbh, without ap it has only 70 DPS, with sec armour it only 42 or less if armour bulletproof. When even base sec gun has ridiculous 96 dps

@@Jetstream_Toster 2 seconds to crit sec with perfect accuracy is no joke. And as a botanist you can just pull out another gun to keep shooting, so your dps is near perfect 96 dps is the droizd, which sec is not going to be casually carrying, the mk58 has less dps and accuracy issues so you still got plenty of firepower advantage

I love people that dont use flashlights. Yeah of course he didnt see the explosive mine, he didnt even have a weapon out. I think he just wanted an excuse to not play nukie and die himself. Considering he did that with 2 teammates directly next to him, he didnt even "waste" his roll, he just flat out teamed with sec via bombing his own team.

i’ve been holding out in being a nuke op even though i’ve played like 500 hours, i just have terrible internet and i feel as if i was on a team i’m fluke and be a laggy mess so i haven’t ever ticked the box.

my first time nukie adventure was we breached armory from top sec armory like this exact map but armory got breached before we even got to the station as if they knew we were there already so we started pushing and i got cornered next to interrogation room managed to reload and lock what was the weapon C-20 and it did not shot for some reason like i knew basic combat and i should used smoke granade and spray and pray and just apply pressure so other nukies had fun and it wasnt my fault so that went well but we failed since it was a good plan but unlucky execution
