I have been painting figures by Games Workshop now for years, and 'YES!' they are the finest miniatures in all the world. Man you have a lot of fun doing up each vehicle and making them look and stand alone and like you said just sticking on parts make the whole new look for each one.

I see Gutrippa has his riggers working ova time. Stroke of genius chopping the trukks up and using deffkoptas as bases for buggies.

Orks are so fun to build and paint, it makes it hard to focus on other armies. Love your conversions! Especially the smaller ones based on deffkoptas! 5 TL rokkits is good against anything and they wont get stuck in CC as they are vehicles :)

I have +6000p of orks right now. My goal is to have every unit in the codex, and some of forgeworlds cooler stuff. Some odd units which I really like is a big trakk with a suupa kannon and wazbom blastajet with tellyporta blastas combined with any of the everlasting waaagh formations. The regular is of course tankbustas, meganobz, warbikers, buggies and deffkoptas. A single deffkopta is pretty nice for objective grabbing and tank harrassment. :)

Thanks for the ideas! Somehow I ended up with thirteen deffkoptas and I only have one buggy, so converting them would be a nice way to even things out. There's been a lot of rumors about a new ork buggy, but I'm not holding my breath.

Nice work I myself have been saving spare armour off Deff dreads and collecting second hand vipers and land speeders for a similar project Saving rockets off Deff dreads as well But it's on the waiting list of Ork projects to do still finishing off 30 converted Tankbusters...then there is the 30 storm boyz 15 of which are the old metal bodies with kromlech running legs......so much to do😆🤓😳
