tip I can give is opening back panel, it is bit difficult, open carefully. No issues at all, Regarding the battery use yes it is consuming bit more than usual, most of the time I use editing software which actually consume more power so I always keep my charger on. Improvement is app loading, Booting speed, U would really like performance of laptop after installing ssd. I feel like i am using macbook, its my personal opinion. By the way for videos editing we should need 16 gb minimum I would say. Later on i realized amd added 8 gb more.

Remove unnecessary softwares, each one of them. Defragment your hard disk. Check your startup programs and disable unnecessary ones. You will definately see improvement after that.

There is no rule like we have to keep ssd in main drive, we can use as both ways, no issues, but if I keep my secondary HDD in optical drive, I can easily replace with other HDD for data transfer etc, Its of my preference.,

You have sufficient ram, it is more than enough, SSD Depends upon ur usage, if u r into proffessional work like editing etc, and that is giving lot of lag, stuck you can opt to SSD, if there is no lag, stuck, no need to upgrade, but the difference will be read write speeds, Instead u can opt to a better cooling pad

This is where the main problems arises, that I recently understood, RAM plays very major role for anything, 8 GB is not enough, My suggestion is first Upgrade RAM, Add another 8 GB like I did. First I thought SSD plays major role hanging the system, after I installed ssd, Reading speeds everything but hanging is same, its because when system occupies 8 gb ram, usually it happens, My suggestion would be, First go with 8 gb Ram upgrade, if u have money go with both, that helps you a lot. By just upgrading SSD, I am damn sure its not gonna help you.....

Same here. I have a WD 240GB ssd. When I put it in the caddy it is not shown in Windows disk management. I replaced the caddy also still the same problem.

@@blairfernandes6881 put the ssd in place of hdd by opening the laptop and put hdd in optical disk. This way it worked for me.☺️
