Hey Michael! Thanks for the video! There is a problem though. I followed step by step what you showed and now my laptop doesn't open. I connect the battery cable, then the battery light flash for a second and that's it. It's dead, please help me

I don't know what you mean by it doesn't open. Whether or not the light flashes when you connect the battery isn't indicative of anything as far as I can tell without more information. You might try putting it back the way that it was. So if you replace the ram put the original ram back if you replace the drive put the original drive back. See if it turns on and works.

hi micheal ive got a question for you that i hope you can help with. ive got this hp laptop 14S-DK0108AU inwhich will stuck in hp loading screen whenever i want to format to a new version of windows ie 20H2 tgh highest it can go is windows 10 1511 if im not mistaken any clue why its reactin like that ?

If you're trying to do a recovery to factory settings that may be the version of Windows 10 that came on the computer so that's the only one it has to revert to. What you can do is check out my Windows 10 upgrade video. It's from a few years ago but it pretty well walks you through downloading the installer for Windows 10, the latest version and installing it. Several of the newer videos here on the channel also cover it.

This should take care of hardrive error saying hard drive not found? Inspiron 5567 - got the error and haven't been able to boot windows for about a year now

If your computer is saying that a hard drive is not found that either means that the drive really isn't there, it's broken, or some computers will say that even if the drive is there and working fine but there's no operating system to boot to. If the drive is there and it is working you just need to reinstall Windows.

Love your video. I just replaced old battery and want to replace the ssd drive now. My C drive says it’s has 917 gb. Should I buy a ssd with 1tb instead of 500gb? Mine is Inspiron 15 5567 intel core i3 7th gen

With SSD prices the way they are right now you can get a 1 TB solid state drive for just about $60. A 500 GB solid state drive is $40. I'd spend the extra money on the 1tb. Unless you're in a market where solid state drive prices are still very high. If your laptop supports an m.2 NVMe solid state drive I'd recommend getting one of those.

@@markmarchant9111 When you have it open you can look for one. You can also tell by Google searching the model number of the computer. if it has one you should find people talking about it.

My laptop is same, with is dell Inspiron 15 5567 intel i3-66006U cpu @2.00ghz (4gb/1tb). My question is, can in upgrade it into Intel i5 7th generation. Also can I upgrade the ram too from 4gb to 8gb. And aslo of how much GHz processor should I use

Upgrading the CPU would take replacing the motherboard because the CPU is soldered to it. Ram and SSD upgrade options are shown in the video.

It's fine to leave the battery connected. As long as the computer is off. If it's sleeping then wake it up and shut it down.

DELL Inspirton 15 5567 , only coment if someone want to install previus version of windows 10, like Windows 7 can not work complete windows 7 ( Dell Inspiron 15 5567 ) i see some notice that Microsoft and intel only give support for win10 on processor i7-7xxx and i5-7xxxx (i can get drivers for USB port, or Network card, or Wifi card) I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5567 with Intel i7-7xxxx and I have DVD of Windows 7 install, i install, but when start windows , there are no drivers for USB , no drivers for Wifi card, no drivers for Network card, only have SOUND, and CD/DVD access but i can not conect to internet beacause no wifi, i can not install drivers from USB memory ( supponse if I have drivers, because Microsoft and DELL do not make compatible with win7 all processor i5-7xxx or i7-7xxxx .. and this model of DELL is uses intel seven generation... so I can not use win 7 for that.. at the moment i can not make more search for USB drivers for this DELL, but asumig i found drivers i need to search in other computer with DVD/CD burner, in case i found a drivers for win7 burn to CD or DVD and then bring to this DELL 5567 with only access for CD/DVD because NO wifi, no USB drivers, I notice this DELL inspiron 15 5567 when install Windows 10 do not neet activation, i think DELL already program some serial in the bios or license for win10 , with WIndows 10 is ok to install ( this model was designed for Windows 10 , not for win 7, 8 )

There's sometimes a few ways depending on the particular model laptop. What model laptop do you have?

You can use caddy + HDD setup for this. KZfaq has a lot of videos of HDD in caddy setup for such laptops. The only downside is you cant use the CD drive after this setup, just a heads up.
