I once got breathalysed, then when the results showed I hadn't been drinking, the policeman demanded to know why eyes were bloodshot. I told him him it was because I'd had my contact lenses in all day, and so my eyes were a bit dry (which was true), but he kept demanded things like you haven't been smoking pot, or swimming in a chlorinated pool? He couldn't get me for drinking, but he was determined to catch me out on why my eyes were bloodshot.
