very cool effect from an AR code i created.
the game's maps feel very jagged when you have no speed limit. i had to use a lot of strange methods to handle my momentum for intensive turns.
to apply this in dolphin emulator, right click the game in your game list (MAKE SURE IT'S THE AMERICAN RELEASE), hit properties, AR Codes, Add Code, and copy + paste this into the big field. give it a name in the small field, then hit Save. Make sure the checkbox next to the new code is filled, then start the game.

Even for TAS this run was insane. The ricochet off the iceberg was especially satisfying.

Factoring in stat balance, hidden intricacies like character airtime, quickness of uber trick execution, etc. Elise is probably the best character in the game. She is a tremendous jack of trades.

You misunderstood my comment which is understandable because of how I worded it. In one field, yes, Mac is indeed the king of Uber tricks and airtime. Just like Brodi is the king of holding top speed. But what I mean is that Elise is such an above average blend of everything and has alpine board levels of speed as a BX rider (she is just as fast as Marisol and 2 notches behind Brodi). Tied for 2nd fastest in the game. She also has good acceleration and outperforms Eddie (a Freestyle rider) in tricks.

Absolutely awesome video. I've always wondered what it would be like if there wasn't a limit for how fast you can go and this is better than I imagined it would be. Also I'm glad to see you uploading again :)

Bruh? How? Where do you mod this game? I want to try or see mini boarders where it takes long to fall Or large boarders and the courses are tiny Or moon gravity Or maybe even mod the tricky animation onto the Ssx 3 tracks 😅

Love your ssx tricky content. How bad is the burnout from years of playing this game?

Right now, it's fine... I think it's worse for SSX 3. Still, I'd be lying if I said the most recent long break wasn't, at least partially, due to burnout. I think the casual love for both games will be fully back at some point in the future. My record-grinding is very near its end, so that won't be on my mind when playing anymore.

you could probably use a process similar to what I used for this video to find that. i think it'd be harder to find the bit that slows it down though - i feel like i'd be easier to find the flip speed itself, and setting that to something ridiculous

right now, the most active streamer/runner is junior_sm, who is currently wrapping up speedrunning the original game, about to move on to tricky and 3. there's also Daggy898, who is currently mostly streaming Riders Republic but is also an avid ssx 3 player. and i guess i count in that too, i'm still finding stuff to upload, but i don't stream. there's also a discord for the community where you can expect to see people talking about the games pretty much every day discordapp.com/invite/0udWvVf033tJS5kz

yes there is, and it works even crazier than in this game. haven't finished any proper run with it just yet, but its potential is huge

I have no idea what that wiki is on about. this speed hack is an Action Replay code, for the American Gamecube release only. Codes for other versions can be found, but I've never done it. Once I get back to my setup, I'll post the code here and in the description of this video
