We drove to Key West last year from Orlando it does look very similar we loved the Keys so much, lovely vlog today xxx

I stayed at the art deco hotel you pointed out. Very nice hotel, but strange area. Very, VERY limited places to eat, and they weren’t open very often. It was offseason, but even the restaurants downtown had limited hours, as all restaurants seemed to close at 5 pm. That drive you mention does kind of give off a Florida Keys vibe. Each island has its own look/feel. When visiting Key West, be sure to walk around in the residential areas to see the beautiful homes, which are so colorful. Don’t forget to visit the Hemingway Museum. The big draw seems to be the cats, who have extra toes on their paws. And the stray chickens, that run amok on the streets of Key West, are protected by the law. While Jacksonville itself isn’t worth visiting, it’s a good base to use when visiting the area. Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island are very nice. There are some very beautiful beaches in that area, along with luxury five star resorts. Not a beach person here, but the beaches in that area are worth visiting.

Re: Weather, if you go there in the Summer, it is very hot and very humid. We have been to Jax Beach and St. Augustine Beach in July/August and it is quite uncomfortable.
