The ancestors are there; their spirits make the air thick. They hear it -- this song and many others, we as a people have sung so many times, oft. Yes! And we FEEL it. We FEEL them. THEY were seeking The Most High! WE STILL SEEK THE MOST HIGH and just as they did, through all adversities and injustices and weaknesses and oppression WE SEEK HIM. We are ALWAYS His, black people. We are ALWAYS His, no matter where we are, Christian, Hebrew, Muslim, Hindi, Buddhist, Moorish, 5%er, ObiYah, Voudoun, Atheist -- we ALLL belong To The Most High, ain't never been OUR choice ain't never been UP TO US! It's not UP TO US! We are HIS! Praise Him!

@@lionofjudahlambofgod9132 Neither of those scriptures have absolutely nothing to do with anything yall take scripture put of context Christ said the dead know NOTHING. Those who have perished are dead and will not arise until Jesus returns. This is deception folks spiritual guides also known as ansestoral guides are just demons that followed our ansestors they have the abilities to shapeshift and speak like ones who passed on before us I was a medium before I spoke with them please research and read the Book of Enoch as it goes into further detail of what happened during the days of Noah. Do not confuse things of the world as witchcraft with the word of God. If anything those wicked spirits lead our people astray by practicing witchcraft and using other means in forms of vengeance. Christ said vengeance is HIS alone. Please read your bibles and pray for guidance through the Holy Spirit as he is the ONLY Spirit through Christ Jesus that will lead us into the Kingdom of Heaven.

I grew up in Jackson, but being white I I’ve only seen about .2% of what it means to be born and raised in a state like Mississippi. So much darkness is there, and yet through the darkness there is the essential stuff of life. You can feel the energy pulsing through this video, much like you can through most of Mississippi. I’ll never know what it’s like to really live in a state like Mississippi, but videos like this give me a glimpse. There’s so much pain, and yet through that pain there’s a strength that I’ll never really get as someone fed with a silver spoon.
