Highway Kind is pretty depressing, but Nothin’ might edge it out. Of course I love them both and they are two of my favorite Townes songs cause I’m weird like that 🙂

There it is, God bless you Mike Thank you for your hard work. I've been waiting for this one. I think there aint any song of Townes that is happy 😂 but when i listen to any of his song i can be happy too or sad(default mood) feels like sometimes i can make that decision and that's the guy's magic and my answer would be A song for.

you're welcome, thanks for appreciating it. lmk what else I can help with! It's hard for me to get into the No Deeper Blue album. I'm not a fan of most of the Townes songs where he's just strumming. I can say I've dove into the lyrics on this record. As for the Acoustic Blue record, i find it unlistenable. It's just too sloppy, unprepared, and meh.

@@RamblinSoul. haha. just listened. I grew up on metal and prog rock and Satriani and Vai. I've been exhausted by flashy playing. I can still appreciate it but it rarely has any emotional impact and just sounds flashy to me. Cool voice, and yeah, obviously stellar technique, but not anything I'm interested in.

I disagree. Some of these later tunes, i dont know. It's just kind of rambly. Maybe you can argue the lyrics are more depressing, but the song itself has little to no mood to it. Sorry Townes, but frankly it's just a bad song!
