The band finished 2nd overall.

My dad was a piper in this band in 1952 they used to win everything so proud of you all oh his name was Patrick walker

I THINK THEY PLAYED BALL WITH O TOOLES. STILL A WALKER HURLING AND PLAYING BALL. SYNNOTTS NONE OF THEM PLAYING

Marvelous playing. Crisp, vigorous and lively. Could it be bettered? Only with extreme difficulty is my opinion.

@@slotpb . Lads and lassies. Go hiontach. Saw you many times and black raven in fingallians in swords in my youth. Still listen to ye. You tube tharr barr. never forget john thompson hurled and played peile. AR AON NOS COLM MURPHY TOBAR MAREIDE. (St margarets) put him out cold one day in st annes Stephens day. It was a meeting of minds
