Thank you all the tours so far about Italy. We are going this fall and watching your videos have been extra helpful. Did you wait in line to do this tour or did you buy your tickets online somewhere? There’s so many companies offering different deals it’s hard to pick.

Don't miss out on the amazing Pala d'oro which is tucked in the back of the basilica and you have to pay a bit extra to view it. Unfortunately this video didn't capture it. There's an official site that you can get timed tickets in advance.

Are pictures/videos allowed inside? I read online that they're not allowed (but if they are, great!)

Yes, it’s allowed. Didn’t have any problem with capturing

Why do the dates use the secularised form CE? Surely it would have been far more appropriate, on this Christian video to use AD.
