Floods in St Neots and Little Paxton. Seems to happen this time every year , but this year probably a bit worse. Come with me as we have a little explore of these floods. Thanks for watching… cheers Andy

Happy 2024 Andy!! Its always flooded bad in St Neots they allow it to help stop Bedford & Huntingdon from flooding.

The new build near the bridge you showed, my Gt grandfather used to own that land for his horses. :)

I used to make that walk to and from Little Paxton just about every day. Would quite often stop on the walking bridge and watch the water flow or the swans float about. My apartment was just beyond (and across the street) where you were when your video ended, on Skipper Way. Made that walk too many times to count. Would be nice to get to come back and visit.

Funnily enough I'm looking at buying an apartment in Skipper Way. Mind if I ask what the area is like? Are the apartments good quality? I've had my share of apartments built out of cardbaord rather than brick and I'd like to hopefully avoid neighbour noise.

@@captainadequate3951 My apartment had been newly renovated, so I think it was more updated than many of my neighbors. I never heard anyone complain about their's, though. While I lived there, I had a couple maintenance issues which the realty company resolved quickly. I really liked the location and enjoyed the option of either a pleasant walk into town or a short drive. I usually walked. St. Neots has a nice movie theater, and several very nice grocery stores. I always went to Waitrose, M&S, or Tesco, but there were a couple others. Good restaurants were conveniently located as well on the high street and St. Mary's was a wonderful place to attend church. Rail access is good. Easy drive to Peterborough and Cambridge. I hope this has been helpful. Feel free to ask anything else. Cheers from the USA!
